I'm going to sign up for wordpress. I have blogger but I think if I can keep up with blogger then I should be able to also do wordpress. I mean I know I will probably just repost content but it gets out to more people especially if they do not use blogger.

I did two back track post and then decided I would look at the editing templet and play with it for a little while. I found that picture on bing or google can't remember which and was like that would be perfect for the quote that I picked out. lol

I've been on Wordpress a long time. And it looks nice for Wordpress standards. Lol. Trust me. I know. My page looked worse than that for like 3 years.

Aw thank you! So far I have been focusing on making sure I post! I have been keeping up so far!

I'm getting some post together tomorrow that will help me post for this week. I figure at the end of the week if I've finished a book before Saturday I'll spend the day getting a post done.

I added an extra day to mine. So I'm posting tuesdays, thursdays and sundays now! I started promoting on facebook, made my hubby promote there too and on tumblr. See if I can commit!

I think come February I may add an extra day. There is just so much I can actually post and if I get them scheduled like take one day and do nothing but post for my blog then I will be fine. Like at the beginning of each month if I am several days ahead in my reading then I can take time to do post for my blog and videos for youtube.

Hey everyone I really want to start my own blog but have no idea where to start and how to do it. If any of you guys can give me advice I would love it.

I think the only advice I can give is post two to three times a week and get used to posting because if you try for every day then it feels like it's a hassle after a little while. I got bored with my blog and stopped posting because the daily post just made me not love my blog anymore. I do post on tumblr, wordpress, and blogger. It's always the same thing but at least I'm getting to a bigger audience that way when you think about it because some people only do wordpress and some only do tumblr and the same with blogger. So it's all what you are comfortable with.

I was at first when I set up blogger. I guess if I had to pick the easiest one to set up I found the wordpress was the easiest one for me.

Out of curiosity... Who here, that has a blog or channel up find it very hard to keep a steady schedule for their work? Like I write every Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays and I find it difficult to make time for it sometimes! I have a journal and a planner to make sure that I am on track and stuff. And then I have like 4 different things I write about. I was just wondering who else feels overwhelmed at times!

I help a friend on her blog, but honestly for months now I am the only posting on there. So I admit I could do more work for her, but I also have to review books for Dark Faerie tales, so I don't do as much as I could. Plus I have a hard time saying no so in addition to my normal reviews on DF I am also doing 3 series, thankfully one is small and I just finished it yesterday, but I have to start working on the next one and I feel very overwhelmed in just reviews. I don't even do any of the fun stuff it seems like.

Yeah I don't only review books on my blog. I review tv shows, movies and beauty products. What really takes a lot of my time are the reviews for the tv shows because I review every episode because I want it to feel like my audience is watching it with me. And to watch the episodes plus read and review and review my beauty things, I feel overwhelmed at times!

Yeah, I feel that way sometimes myself. I don't even remember posting anything last week and I even thought about it. I even have my post written out and everything.

I have a journal that I write everything on. And I have it tallied and planned and highlighted. So far I am doing great on keeping up with it and in planning to do more with my beauty side of it. Since I know books and tv shows could only go as far as I finish it. Lol.

Yeah, I mean if I've got plenty of post I may back post one or two days but that's about it.

I copy and paste what I put in the other one into the wordpress so they both get the same thing.

I have plans to add more content by writing more book reviews, perhaps tossing in tv/movie reviews, maybe a weekly recipe and of course I usually do a monthly update. Maybe reposting stuff from my Instagram & Twitter. I like how some of you have a schedule when to write, I think I really should start doing that instead of waiting for inspiration alone. :)

It works for me when I remember to plan out my post. I am usually pretty good with just the two days a week. I know I could probably increase it but I am still having problems remembering to post two days a week.
