The first thing I always notice when I re-read these is the art at the beginning is so different from the newer ones. I don't like it as much as the newer ones but it's not bad... I mean I can't even draw a stick figure so I find any drawing skills to be impressive. Just not as pretty. :(

I also miss Kyoko's grudge spirits and how overemotional she was. She still is but not as much as before. Nostalgia.

End of first manga. I really don't like the early art. It's fairly different from the later mangas.

I love how Ren becomes a grudge for her too and how she represents her grudge by the size of the poster.

The first real hint that Mogami had a bad childhood was when she told Maria that crying would not get her anything.

I never realized that Moko was the girl who flung Maria! She looks different enough that I never picked up on it!!!!

That uniform! OMG. So pink!!!! Poor Kyoko. She has a right to be embarrassed!

Can't believe that Shou didn't recognize her! How stupid is he?! He has know her his entire life basically and also lived with her most of her/his life!!!

I like the banter between Kyoko and Ren. Him calling her a turtle. I can understand why Kyoko is so prickly but she should also be more grateful that Ren helped her. I would love to be in his arms!!

Ruriko is something else. I love how cold Ren was to her and how calm everyone was when she ran off.

Basically used Kyouko as his live-in slave and treated her like crap and took her for granted and GRRRRRR.

Act 2: (view spoiler)[I love how she wanted to be a star but didn't actually want to do any of the "star" things such as acting or singing :P

And just stalking the talent manager until she gets her way. It's great XDD (hide spoiler)]

Act 3: (view spoiler)[Ren is really great XD I love his reaction to Kyouko saying she wanted revenge on Shou.

*immediately pulls out phone to Google who that is* (hide spoiler)]

Act 4: (view spoiler)[I loved Kyouko's attempt at "reconciling" over the phone during the audition - that's certainly one way to make an impression! XDD (hide spoiler)]

Act 5: (view spoiler)[It's so great that the little girl that Kyouko uhh... treated... "nicely"... really liked her to the extent that she made her Dad (?) talk the president into giving her a chance to work her way up from the bottom. (hide spoiler)]

Act 6: (view spoiler)[Uh oh. Shou's at the gas station where Kyouko's now working. Not good.

Of course he's still a douche and somehow doesn't recognise someone he's known since he was a child, and LIVED TOGETHER with? D*CKHEAD. (hide spoiler)]

Act 7: (view spoiler)[The Daruma idea is really neat, I like it c: Her "boss/landlord" is really nice, even though he's a grump you can tell he truly cares c:

...Of course Ren's being a douche. Being either way, I still like him :P (hide spoiler)]

Act 8: (view spoiler)[Poor Kyouko, losing her "love" as a result of Shou. I love how confusing the whole thing is to Sawara-san and the president of LME though XD;;

...I forgot about the gum thing. With scrubbing it so much and then deciding to wax it, thus making it really slippery and causing people to slip and injure themselves.

Kyouko's reaction to this is pretty great though ;D (hide spoiler)]

Act 9: (view spoiler)[:o I'd forgotten all about that brat Ruriko! I mean really, making someone carry you up an entire hill, while also carrying all your stuff because you're "too weak" and then completely forgetting about them and not getting them any help when they've injured themselves trying to help you? NOT. COOL.

Act 10: (view spoiler)[Ruriko is such a spoiled bratttt. Seriously? Just because someone doesn't make it the first time they don't deserve to make it at ALL? And then you're also getting jealous because she was carried up the hill by Ren when YOU were the one who left her there all alone while injured :/

And now because Ruriko can't accept being told that she needs to try harder, she's attempting to throw Kyouko under the bus as the person to do the acting... bet Kyouko's going to kick ass at it though :P (hide spoiler)]

Act 11: (view spoiler)[I love the reaction to Ruriko attempting to insult her by saying "makeup artists can do anything - you look so much better". Kyouko's so excited and "yesssss... isn't it amazing" while Ruriko is going "what? NO. IT WAS AN INSULT DAMMIT." (hide spoiler)]

I think it's fine. I haven't had Sarah look at my review. I don't think it would work for anything but manga. But there is a limit to what you can write about manga. It's like writing a review on one page of a book!

Manga's only cover so much, even when they're 200+ pages ._.

Exactly! It's like 100 words or less. Mostly it's pictures. I can't write BR comments and a review well from that! Especially when it's a re-read.

Yup. She apparently had an unexpectedly busy weekend. Can't remember if it was because of visitors or not now. I think she has only done the serious teams for individual so she has all the medium teams and the fun teams still. I think the other challenges are done though. So she just has those two and then the teams for this month.

Yes. And with Abbie's internet not working well it's been mostly Sarah. I think Abbie's wifi is working now though. :)

A hint for these to make comments/reviews easier. Use these: Skip Beat! (3-in-1 Edition), Vol. 1: Includes vols. 1, 2 3 It is one book bindup of three volumes and Sarah does allow them. Less reviews to write and can do different comments.
