What should Meyer write next?

I def. like the thought of shifters. I would love her taken on a coven of witches though...I would def. like to see what she could do with that!
I think Meyer should continue writing Midnight Sun but if she didnt I think something in the supernatural area might be good.Hmm... witches would be interesting. I havent heard of any witch books going around lately, mainly because of HP but im willing to give a witch/wizard book a try.
I'd like her to write a book about Leah. I also think she should finish Midnight Sun if she hasn't already.
I've heard Meyer say in a lot of interviews that she doesn't like the label 'vampire writer' applied to her and that she'd like to write stories in other genre's. Personally, I'd be willing to give anything she read a shot. So far I've really liked almost all of her books (I didn't like Breaking Dawn at all) and I like a variety of genre's. I think it's safe to say though that whatever it is she writes it will probably have a strong romance angle.
Definitely something supernatural... maybe something that has to do with a haunted mental institution or something. Or maybe even another vampire series.

I would love to read about Leah too! She got a rough deal in the Twilight books...it'd be nice to for Meyer to give Leah her own series!

I see what your saying Jo but I think I'd be a bit moody too the poor girl lost Sam to Emily and she's the only girl wolf and also isn't sure if she can reproduce. I think she's lonely and needs to imprint and then she'll be a happy girl.
NOTHING she writes will make me happy until she finishes Midnight Sun. Sorry. I loved the rough draft and I want more!
Hehe. I would stand at there book store waiting for it to open just to get a copy of midnight sun! Lol.
I found this article yesterday, it says that Meyer is not planning to write any new book in the Twilight series, but rather write a sequel to The Host.http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2009/...
She plans to write at least two more books in the host series. However, it looks like they won't be released until 2012.
She would do the literary world a great favor to lay her pen down and swear never to touch it again.
I rather liked the Voltaire and thought they should get their own book, but her writing is pretty, sorry to say it, long winded. I wanted to put a red pen through bits in order to tighten up the story. In fact I could have combined book one and two into a tighter story.

Honestly, the Twilight saga has made enough money that she wouldnt have to write anything for the rest of her life!
I don't know about her sister. It was in an interview I heard several months ago, that it is something she is considering. And you're right, she doesn't need to do anything else, but writers don't just write for the payday. They love what they do. I'm working on a book right now, and am so excited because a sequel has recently made itself known. And I doubt I'll be published at all but I'm going to keep writing anwyay. It's great therapy.

Yeah, I understand exactly what you mean with the writing.
I would be interested to hear how Jacob and Renesmee get on once she's grown up. I really enjoyed reading the parts of the books from Jacob's perspective. Like the sound of a series on Leah
Jo wrote: "I would really love to read a sequel to The Host. I heard it was going to be a trilogy."Agreed! I only started to read The Host because of Twilight and although the first few chapters were rough I ended up love it and I don't even like Alien stories!
I would love to read something from her on Witches!
As for the twilight serious the only thing I think would be good for her to explore is the whole imprint thing between Renesmee and Jacob. Not sure where she would go with it but I would like to know what happens when she gets older.
Paranormal \ Young adult of course. I would really like to see a book of Meyer with fey, vampires, werewolves and supernatural creatures with unique gifts. :)
She should write nothing. Twihlight which I bought, and actually paid for was awful. The movies looked awful. She should rest on her pile of ill gotten gains, and never right another vampire story again. Braum Stoker lives.
I think a series about the Cullens before Twilight would be interesting. How they came together, what it was like for them and all that. I'd read it. :) But a sequel to The Host would also be enjoyed. I liked it better than Twilight, and I'm curious as to where she would take it. Would the souls and humans live together, or would one side fight the other and win? It's intriguing to think about.
I read Twilight - and I didn't like it - but I loved the Host, so I'm here for it: She should definitely write book 2 and 3 of the Host. It was meant to be a trilogy, but she kinda stoped writing it. But I saw one of her interviews and it seems like she is writing the book 2 for the Host. And yes, she should definitely stick to the fantasy genre (though I hope she doesn't write any more Twilight books. My opinion. :)
I'm not sure I know exactly which interview it was. But find the official Facebook page for the movie The Host, scroll down a bit, you'll find one interview, but as I said, I'm not completely sure it's the right one. :)
As long as she doesn't write anymore Vampire books. When The Host was released, I enjoyed that a lot more than I did Twilight, that is for sure. I think she would do great making a Mystery novel though. That would be new and fun for her. She definitely has the imagination to go further with that idea.
Sghe should write a book about Jacob and Rensemee.

She she write about the pack, another member of the cullen family, or something entirely different?
If you think she should write something different, what should it be?
Do you think she should stop writing entirely?
What genre should she stick to?
-I'd like to see her write an adult story so she could be more graphic. I want her to stick to the supernatural, but be more creative. I would really like her to follow through with her hints at the way the storyline is going to go(in her future stories), instead of taking the lazy path and letting down her readers.
