I hope u can find a copy Laura. Mines from audible and I can't share :( I doubt I'll be joining in for this one but I'm definitely gonna stand over there ---> all creepy like & eavesdrop :p

Awesome :) I'm gonna buy the audio on am..."
I've got the audio reserved from the library and I've been next on the list for about two weeks now. (You're only allowed to check them out for 2 weeks, if someone is waiting for that title, so it should be coming in any moment.)

I've never considered this one to be one of my favorite King novels, but I'm loving it this time around.

Feel free to comment in spoiler tags. We'll click them when we catch up to you. :)

That's from the Silmarillion but doesn't it sound just like the deadlights?

I'm not sure if it's worth the money for the audio, since I already own the book. However, the audio did come in for me this morning at the library. Soooooo WHOOHOOO! If I like it, I might buy it to listen again at some point in the future.
I'll finish listening to William Shatner narrate Leonard: My Fifty-Year Friendship with a Remarkable Man and start It by tomorrow.

I love that about ALL of King's work. All of the stories are connected in one way or another. Most are connected through the Dark Tower series, but some are not. Here's a link if you're interested:

Which part is that? Be vague. (I'm listening to the audio, so I'm not sure if the parts/chapters are marked the same or not?)

My audio says Part 5, Chapter 3

AGREED!

I thought Pet Sematary was one of the darkest books I've ever read. I also thought it was WAY better than the movie.

He does, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Especially all of Richie's voices. :)

Lol, that's sort of a funny thing to say about a book, but I know what you mean.
I'm up to about 31%. The part with the [spoil..."
I loved that part too!
I'm at Part 15, Chapter 9 or 40% and I just noted a mention of (view spoiler)
It is wordy, but for some reason I don't mind it in this book. Maybe it's because I enjoy the characters so much?

The clowns were never seen by adults."

Heehee, we just had a local clown scare. It was actually shot as an advertisement for a local haunted house but someone got ahold of it, and it went viral, or what counts for viral around here:

I was reading this book a bit in the beginning of October, so this would be perfect!

Come on in and join us, Anna! The more the scarier. :)

Awww. The King often does that to me too. The end of The Stand made me sad for days.

I just started yesterday. I love Stephen Weber's narration too! He is great at all the different characters.

LOL. My teenage daughter is completely freaked out about the creepy clowns. This book or the movie, since she doesn't read (UGH), would totally scare the crap out of her.

Agreed. (view spoiler)

Reading is My Escape, I enjoyed reading your comments. There is a lot of humor here, and it's easy to overlook with all the scares.

I'm at the very end now and I'm surprised at how much I've forgotten. This is my third read and I didn't remember that (view spoiler) How did I forget that?
Also, (view spoiler) That's one thing that has stayed the same through my re-reads.

Thanks Char. I'm way behind everyone else, but I am really enjoying the audio. It's such a different experience from reading the physical book. I am catching things I never noticed before.

Well, that part I remembered but I never was crazy about it. I don't think it was necessary, personally.
