Retrieve review information without the iframe - will this work?

As far as I can tell, simply using the URL information from within the "the_iframe" should get me the basic review HTML, which I can use in a WKWebView in my mobile app.

For example, can I directly call something like this:

https://www.goodreads.com/api/reviews...

...safely and bypass parsing the return from book/isbn?
