I wasn't very fond of Terry at the beginning of this book. I think he took a partially-formed idea and hung the world on it. He was so wrong about Harry, I hope he revises his way of working and thinking and feeling in the future.
I also had a problem with Terry so easily accepting that Harry could be a serial killer. He seemed to be forcing the facts to fit his theory rather than following the evidence and seeing it for the set up that it was.
Terry gets "hooked" into this pretty easily by Winston's request, considering his initial protestations that he's finished with the life. I think his conflict with that question -- whether he's in or out -- leads him to make hasty conclusions about Harry's supposed guilt here. We know by now that Harry has some issues, but Terry has some too!
