Missing picture

I've added yesterday this book (with picture).
It did not succeed because I added the ISBN with dashes. The dashes were eliminated (ok), but the number was truncated. This is how the ISBN got like being invalid.
I fixed it, but, seemed that the picture was cleared. I corrected (added the missing digits) the ISBN without checking if the other fields (including photo) were still there.
Could you please tell the programmer:
1. to maintain the picture (as attribute of the new book) and not to clear it if an error occur?
2. modify the treat of the ISBN (if it comes with dashes, don't truncate it first. Only remove the dashes and then, if it's the case, remove extra digits)

I'm sorry you had trouble adding this book. Unfortunately that website is not one we can use for getting cover photos. Do you have the book? Can you scan the photo and upload to your profile? We could use that. After we upload the cover, you could delete it from your profile.

I will not upload it as my profile picture. Not even temporarily. There must a better way for these cases.

Thanks guys (both of you, Elizabeth and fRee), now I have a better understanding of that photo section.
I was used to associate it just with readers images :), now I know I can be used even for showing favorite books etc.
So yes, in these conditions is great to be used in cases like this. So here is the photo I'm asking to be uploaded :)

One more question, Anca. What is the source of the photo you have provided?

Why would anyone care for the source? Shouldn't it be about the image itself or/and the quality of it?
Is it too small? Too big? Too full of color? Less color?

If you don't want for what-so-ever-reason to let this book have an image just delete the book!
