My name's Dee, and besides a weakness for baked goods (I just had to teach my 10-year-old niece what Rubenesque means), I love romance. Sweet, steamy, doesn't matter.

I'm currently working on my first erotic romance, and am a long way off from publishing it, but in the meantime, I'm excited to meet so many great people. Especially the ones with cookies. And scones. And... I mentioned my obsession with baked goods, right?

I am still attempting to remember to check in here more often. Since self-publishing my first novel in April, I cannot believe how much time I have to remember to dedicate to social media, marketing, and promoting. Whew, it's a lot of work but also an awesome experience; I have learned a lot from fellow indie authors. Just happy to be here and I'll keep on keepin' on :)

Yeah, it gets super manic sometimes.
I'm in final edits, kicking off a freebie project, putting a plan in place for a fb book launch, thinking of ads, chasing my book cover, trying to keep up my online presence...phew!

After 7 years of being a full time mommy to 3 toddlers (plus my job as a translator) I am finally taking some ME time and working on my first novel, it's a process, and so far I am enjoying it, I love having these voices in my head telling me stories:)

yea my characters kind of developed an own life *lol*... There was actually this story in my mind when I started writing but then it somehow began to evolve more and more and suddenly I had a group of friends with each of them having own problems but also being connected to each other... Is this somehow understandable? But I don't know how to explain it in another way... :/
I wrote the story in German and have to translate it into English - actually US-English
