Oh, and I totally agree on the mobile app. I find that if I wanna make sure I'm following a certain thread that I turn on notifications otherwise I don't get any notifications that there's a new comment. And if you don't wanna scroll all the way to the bottom, there is a little arrow at the top that sends you to the end right away. But then you have to read the posts backwards. hahahaha

I had to reach out to you when I say you were a native of Nova Scotia. I was there last fall and LOVED it and could see myself living there. Of course, I avoided the bigger cities and had to do the Cabot Trail as I ride a motorcycle and it was a must do.

Hello! I'm Brenda and I've just self-published my first piece (a short fantasy-based erotica).I'm new to goodreads - I'd heard about it before, specifically that people might let me read their books for free if I offered to edit them =P, but didn't get motivated to join until I had my own book to push (speaking of, I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting it here - I just saw that other people were doing the same). Nevertheless, I'm excited to get the chance to read other people's work, discuss the craft, and hopefully learn a thing or two.
I read a lot of romantic short stories, but I also enjoy contemporary fiction, satire, and fantasy & sci-fi novels. I rarely delve into non-fiction: real life is too...purposeless.
