Say hello, pretty please?
Hey newbies! Big Christmassy kisses xxOohh...alpha males...yum!
I'm currently writing a bit of an omega male book but he's yummy. (*goes back to writing and worrying about her vampires being too wet lettuce*)
OMG New people!!! Hi Abigail and Nalla!! Welcome to the crazy!!*Passes around candy canes because you can only get them at this time of the year*
Hello, Nalla and Abigail! I brought hot chocolate for everyone because the low here today was 3 degrees. And I'm angry. About the 3 degrees. And the shoveling of the drive way. And the 500 words I wrote and deleted. I like coming here for a pick-me-up and a laugh. And maybe a drink...or seven. Plus, there are tons of good ideas and help sprinkled around.Oh, and I love bad boys, too. The first time I heard my husband's name was out of a friend's mouth when I was 18. She was bashing him for being...naughty. I told her, "Oh, I'll for sure stay away from him." Bwahahaha! (that was my attempt at an evil laugh)

I'm DREADING the snow here I'm so not ready for it. I keep telling my family I'm going to move to a remote island somewhere.
Welcome new people! Sorry for those I've missed. I haven't been on here for a bit. I'm hearing you on the shoveling. It's pretty damn cold here too and definitely about to snow it's balls (do these count as swears?) off. *eats candy canes and drinks hot chocolate* Thanks, I definitely stole some.
I love me some bad boys too, though my husband definitely does not fit into that category. I'd say he's the nerdy sweet guy I always end up writing. ; )
I don't understand, said the Florida girl. Snow? Shoveling? These words are foreign to me. (Okay, I *am* originally from the north, but it's been a looooong time since I lived there.)
You don't want it!! trust me!! If you do we can trade places lol I'll take the sun over snow any day.
Oh, a conversation on snow happening without me! Everyone getting awesome snow feel free to share pictures (like I actually mean PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE share pictures!!!!!) cos I'm living vicariously through you guys in stupid Melbourne that gets no snow ever!
The Black Forest always gets snow but this year is nothing but sunny skies or very cold fog. We have cold weather but no snow in the forecast. I moved away from NJ before the crazy snow came every winter. I would like to see pictures also. Have a good weekend!
Oh, I could send you all snow pictures this morning!! Also, minus 17 for the next 24 hours. Sunday plus 10 and rain. I love heat and rain. Can I send pictures of rain pretty please. I asked for a swap on FB and got southern Spain or Yorkshire. Not sure which to pick. Duh.
I will be happy to send some snow pics. We're supposed to get btwn 4-8 inches tonight into tomorrow. I just have to figure out how to attach the pics, ha! No seriously, if anyone has tips for that I'm a bit technology challenged. It's only 9 degrees (-12c) here right now. boo!
I'm planning a vacation for the fam to take my mind off all the snow and cold.
Happy Friday everyone!
It's chilly here in FL today. Only 54 degrees right now. And yes, that is now chilly to me regardless that I grew up in MN. Hahahaha I can't handle the cold.
I don't miss FL at all. I'm wintering in Arizona. Snow is expected today after a full day of rain. (I'm in the higher elevations only 65 miles from the Grand Canyon. I'm loving the change in seasons and I love snow and missed it those 30 + years in FL.

It's lovely to be here!

Ee I feel so welcome!!
Yay hugs and chocolate! Holly, I'm a contemporary romance girl, though I (mostly) read it all! Not too keen on NA and YA.
Hi Holly. Eep; good luck on your release. Sounds like you've found the right place; chocolate a plenty.
btw I write smut too; total filth ;-p
Christmas is very distracting!
I will take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas (I'm British, so still allowed to use that phrase without being offensive; says so on my blog n everyfin!).
Have a great one xx
(*leaves out mince pies, wassail and mulled wine*)
One at least reserved for Michael (I love Yorkshire puds!!)
Mwah! xx
Welcome new people that I may have missed! So glad you've come to join our group! *Leaves out holiday cookies to go with the goodies TL brought*
Hello lovelies! I'd send you all a warm hug, but it's (literally) freezing in my neck of the woods (that's Oregon if you're wondering), so how 'bout I pass off a steaming mug of cocoa instead?I'm a little bit nutty and so I decided to self-pub all three of my completed books within about a 2 week period in July-August of this year. Marketing? Book launches? Forget about it! I was just happy to finally see them out there and figured I'd figure the rest out later. Haha!
My books all have two thing in common: romance and a touch of the paranormal. But that's where the similarities end. One is a mystery/thriller, another is more in the line of a romantic suspense, and the third is a PNR/horror/occult mash-up. Diversity is the spice of life right? I hope so, since my two WIPs are as different as night and day: an alternate world fantasy saga (book one of a possible trilogy is almost done and, yes there's romance and angst) plus a fallen angel redemption tale. Whew!
Super jazzed to meet all of you. And a huge shout out to Miss Annie for reaching out and suggesting this group to me. Cheers! ~Jess
*edit- typos!! Forget cocoa. I need coffee.
Welcome Jessica. Oregon is one of my absolute favorite states ever! I have some good friends living in Portland. And thanks for the hot chocolate. I wanted to wish everyone happy holidays! Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah (if anyone celebrates that one other than me). XOXO. *puts out another tray of holiday cookies and cakes*

Hiya, Jessica!!
Its hot where I live, Melbourne Australia, and we are actually having thunderstorms as I write this, its already Christmas Eve here and tomorrow is meant to be hot but I will be enjoying making a snowman with my fake snow!!
Welcome, Jessica! *hands out welcome basket of goodies*
*puts out plate of sugar cookies and hot chocolate*
Merry Christmas, everyone! So exciting...only two more days:)
Hi Jessica!! Nice to see you.Squee!! For us here in Australia (PS: I think that's only me and Miss Jane...) Christmas is already TOMORROW!!! So excited!!
And far from being freezing or even cold, we are expecting hot weather... Sunshine, blue skies... Snow? Never heard of it.
So, thanks for the hot cocoa, but I'd rather have a nice, cold champagne, if that's ok with you?? :-)
Xoxo
Bree
Hi all, I'm new here. Merry late Christmas and Happy New Year!I love reading fantasy and sci-fi, and if there's romance involved that's all the better!
I self-published a romance novella this year, but my resolution for 2017 is to start putting out full length romance novels. I should have the first one ready to go by new year *.* I write all sorts of romances including contemporary, historical fantasy and LGBT (gay, usually).
If I accidentally step on any toes, I'm sorry in advance. I'm new to Goodreads in general ^.^'
Hi I just joined. So far I only have one book published. It is romantic suspense. It is also the first book in a 4 book series, I am currently working on the 2nd book in the series. I hope to publish the 2nd book by sometime in Feb. 2017. I have no specific genre of what I read. I read a wide variety of genres. Writing is also the same way. While I am doing romantic suspense series right now, I also have a paranormal romance trilogy I am working on as well.
So there is a bit about me. Oh and while doing all this, I am also finishing up my dissertation for university. And raising a house full of kids. :-)
Welcome Casey and A.S. (and anyone else that I missed). You're in good hands here as we love ALL types of romances. This is by far and away my favorite group on GR and you will not be disappointed!!
