To Read adds...

Every time someone adds your book as want-to-read, they are pretty much doing free advertising for you because all their goodreads friends/followers will see your book. IMO, this is even better than goodreads ads, and those you actually have to pay money for.
It will translate to actual sales only a fraction of the time, so if you can take it as a compliment and see it as good for exposure, it will probably be less frustrating. I have a bunch of books on my to-read list that I know I will never get to, but sometimes it is nice to add an author's books to show support or to just mark books that you might want to pick up later. :)

doh! of course. why didn't i think of that.

double doh!
both of your minds cut like a katana.

You know...
I'm starting to think the ladies hold all the weapons in this place ^_~
(I'm kidding, gentlemen!!)

cool. i didn't realize that the GR ecosystem was set up so well to sell books.

Case in point.

in my opinion, for certain weapons, that wouldn't be a bad thing.

But that's Ok, that's how exposure works - to find one actually reader you need many thousands of people to see/click/download the book. I hear similar low conversions from everywhere - from click per view per sale on Goodreads ads to Twitter, Google and others...
So, I'd say no need to jump for joy, nor - to tear your hair -:)

Me too Nik - I got the torch on it last night and saw it take a huge leap into the bay tree - we need a handyman to lop the bay branches back! They look really cute in pics, but they'll chew into the roof to get in to nest.
Back to the point of the thread - whilst I'm busy in the summer and quiet in the winter, it can be the other way round for others. Some may be looking at their want to read list for holiday reads.

Tim - sometimes cuddling is nice lol.

(By 'right way' I mean brew a pot of coffee. Yeah. Let's stop there.)

My mind is sooo deep in the gutter right now, you have no clue..."
oh, you must be writing now.

The problem is this series is kinda clean so I have no outlet for my dirty.
You guys are my outlet LMAO!!
Hand me a baby wipe, Miss Tara ^_~
Semi-clean hugs,
Ann
unfortunately i wouldn't take a 30k+ to-read list seriously at all.
