"Alexis." He said, trying to stop her, gently reach for her hand "please, don't leave... I did think, and I thought i was doing the right thing." He told her, sighing gently. "I love you." Ana looked at the door also, seeing alexis turn to leave. "It doesn't look good at all." She said
"Leave me alone right now Jackson just leave me alone I'll talk to you when I'm ready." She says shaking him off walking away.Daniel frowns. "This is going to be hard to fix and the thing is, this issue is on him."
Jackson frowned lightly when he looked and watched her leave, almost feeling like he was broken. "I love you." He said quietly but enough for her to hear. "Alexis has been through a lot, she's had her heart broken before by her family." She said with a gentle sigh, looking at the twins. "What do we do with the twins?"
"We said no more secrets Jackson. This one is on you." She snaps officially leaving. When she got back to the house Alexis changed and lays on the bed falling asleep after crying and throwing and breaking things.Daniel sighs. "We watch them."
Jackson groaned as he watched her leave, he walked away towards a bench seat, sitting down with his head in his hands."And the other two?" She asked, gently rocking Ethan who was asleep now.
"We'll keep them with us for now. I think that's for the best." Daniel says before getting up. "Go see your sister." He walks out to Jackson and sighs. "How are you going to fix it. You let fear run how things were going to go."
Ana looked at her nephew, she held him gently as she went back towards the house, knocking on the door she walked in to alexis. "Lexi." She said quietly to her. Jackson shook his head gently, he didn't know how to fix it. "I don't know. Maybe I can't fix it." He said "I froze... I was scared of loosing her but now I have.. dan I thought I was doing the right thing." He said to his brother
Alexis looked up her eyes red her heart shattered. "Ana." She groans.Daniel shakes his head. "Sometimes when you think you're doing the right things you're not."
She looked at her as she stepped into the room, gently placing Ethan down onto the play mat in their parents room. "Alexis.. talk to me." She said to her gently "But clearly I didn't know that did I?!" He snaps, groaning as he got up from the bench, walking away slowly, his hands in his pocket and his head down. This day was meant to be one full of love and happiness but he may have just lost his true love and wife.
"What kind of person does that. What kind of person hides the fact that they may die from someone?" She asks glaring at the wall.Daniel grabs his brother by the collar of his shirt and slams him against the wall. "You do if you know that hiding something big from someone is going to cost you. Your dying Jackson and you're running from it. I'm still pretty pissed that you waited to tell me until yesterday. If you lose your wife and Ana and I that's on you. You're acting like a child so you need to fix it." He yells.
She walked over to the bed, gently taking a seat and placing her hand over alexis' leg. "I understand your upset and the frustration." She said softly, watching her carefully. "Did he say why he had done it?" He groaned as his brother grabbed him and pushed him against the wall but he didn't fight back, he didn't see the point. "I thought I was doing the right thing. I was trying to protect you all." He said, shaking his head. "How am I to fix it, brother?!" He asked "Im going to die, that's can't be fixed, how should I fix anything else?" He said to him, sighing. "Lexi doesn't want me, you don't want me.. I'm useless."
Alexis nods. "He did but even after I had the kids he hid it. He didn't want to tell me when I was pregnant but even then he kept it hidden from Daniel and you."Daniel shakes his head sighing. "She wants you Jackson she's just heartbroken. We need you J dying or not we need you there. She's broken and you need to be there to put her back together before you truly loose her. Before you truly loose your entire pack.
"Did he say why he kept it though?" She asked her "I'm upset he hid it from us all, he shouldn't have done that but maybe he thought he was doing the right thing. He loves you Lexi, he wouldn't do anything to harm your or hurt you, maybe he thought he was keeping you safe." She said softly. "How do you expect me to fix it?" He asked "I don't know what to do Daniel, my head is not in the right space, I can't remember half the stuff I do anymore." He said to him, feeling defeated.
Alexis shakes her head. "No he didn't he just kept saying it was for me and the kids."Daniel looks at him. "Go get her Jackson. Make her feel loved again make her feel like she's your wife. I'll tell the others that you guys didn't feel well."
She sighed softly, really unsure what to say to her. "I'm sorry Lexi, Jackson loves you, he wouldn't do it to hurt you." He said He nodded slightly, looking at his brother again. "Please tell the guests they can go home." He said to him. "Will you and Ana look after the kids tonight?" He asked, hoping he would, he needed to try make things right but he was lost on how to do so.
Alexis nods closing her eyes. "I love him too so much I just wish he was here."Daniel nods. "Yeah of course now go get her."
"I'm sure he is on his way." She said to her "he loves you." she told her with a gentle smile He nodded and thanked his brother but running back to the house, he raced to the kitchen, grabbed a new tub of ice cream with two spoons before running up stairs, knocking on the door then stepped inside just as Ana finished talking. "I do, I love you so much alexis." He said having heard Ana say he loved her
Alexis looks up at him tears resting in her eyes. She sniffled and stood up walking over to him. She pulls him by the collar of his shirt and presses her lips to his. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." She mumbles softly.Daniel let everyone go home saying the bride and groom had suddenly gotten sick and made the mistake of making it sound like a pregnancy announcement. His brother and Alexis was going to kill him.
Jackson wasn't sure what she was going to do, he stood in the door way holding the ice cream tub and spoons, when she tugged him closer he didn't resist, kissing her back softly but lovingly. "I'm sorry too. I know now I should have told you." He said Ana smiled softly before she walked out, having picked Ethan up and taken him with her. She went back to the reception to find dan
Alexis shakes her head. "No I'm sorry I shouldn't have acted like that and left. We'll get through this together but right now I just want it to be you and me." She says sliding off his jacket before connecting their lips. When Daniel saw Ana he ran over to her Mika in his arms. "Um we may have a small problem."
He let her help to take his jacket off, gently shrugging it onto the chair, kissing her back softly but lovingly. "We will enjoy each other's company." He said withba grin, holding her gently and kissing her back. She looked at him then mika, smiling at the little girl "what, what's the problem?" She asked him
Alexis slips out of her clothes and falls back on the bed. Daniel clears his throat. "People think she's pregnant again."
Jackson smiled softly as he watched her, he stepped out from his clothes and looked st her "I bought us ice cream." He said She looked at him and her eyes widened "what?!"
Alexis looks up at him and grins. "Can we just cuddle and watch something?" She asks. "Well all I did was say you all can leave now and head home and stuff and they asked why so all I said was that Alexis didn't feel good so she headed home. I have no flippen clue how they got that idea."
"Of course we can my love." He said "but we have to share the tub of ice cream. I know you wish to eat it all yourself but there's only one tub left.. and it would be upsetting if you missed out because I ate this one." He said, teasing her with a small grin and climbed into bed. She looked at him again, gasping gently "are you serious? Daniel. You can't say go around saying that." She said to him and laughed softly "let's just wait to see what happens."
Alexis glares at him and looks at the tub of ice cream. "Do you want to be single? If not then hand it over and no one will get hurt." She growls ready to pounce on him when need be. Daniel groans. "I even tried to explain that she had a headache and a stomachache nothing that hinted pregnancy."
He grinned as he watched her, standing by the bed, opening the tub of ice cream. "You want it baby? Come get it." He teased carefully She laughed again, shaking her head "seriously daniel.. you are shocking." She said, she walked into the reception were guests still were, she took the microphone, laughing softly into it. "We are sorry everyone, Daniel is right in that the bride and groom have retreated back home, after today's celebrations they have each grown rather tired and poor dearest alexis does have a headache." She said, smiling softly "I do wish to clarify the happy couple are certainly not pregnant, Daniel must have made a bad choice of wording when he spoke before. The happy couple have wished to thank you all for coming to celebrate." She said
Alexis pounced on top of him and grabbed the tub. "This is my new husband. I'm divorcing you now and marrying this." She says slipping some in her mouth. Daniel glared playfully at Ana and shook his head. "You're grounded."
He laughed when she pounced into him and grabbed the tub of ice cream, he playfully fight her for it but let her take it, gasping also. "Divorcing me already? For a tub of ice cream?" He asked as she climbed into bed beside her and chuckled softly. She smiled as she looked at him once again. "Me? Grounded? Why?" She asked
Alexis glared at him. "Any ice cream tub could replace you because it's sweeter than you could ever be." She winked. Daniel pouts crossing his arms. "Because I said so."
He chuckled as he watched her, grabbing his spoon to try get some ice cream. "I thought I was sweet enough for your liking." He said to her She smiled again, watching him "but Daniel." She whined gently
Alexis glared at him and slapped away his spoon. "More like bitter. Besides you know when it comes to ice cream I would literally fight you for it. Man if I had to hit you with a car I would." She laughs. Daniel looked away from her. "Don't 'But Daniel' me."
He chuckled as he looked at her again, holding her hand gently. "Is that really so? Gee I best be careful." He said and tried to put his spoon back into the ice cream after she slapped it away. Ana giggled softly, her smile showing pure happiness "but baby." She said instead and smiled sweetly at him
Alexis shifted so only her face was the face of a wolf and her body remained human. She let out a snarl and glared at him her wolf challenging him. Daniel peeked one eye at her. "Don't. Don't do that Ana."
Jackson watched her, grinning lightly as she snarled and glared at him. "Your very cute my dear wife.. maybe I please have some ice cream?" He said, not being afraid of her. She then poured with a wobbly lip and saddened eyes. "Daniel, baby." She said softly and whimpered gently. "If I'm grounded your grounded."
Alexis turns back and sighs. "Fine I guess but if you eat it all I'll kill you." She growls. Daniel looks at her. "Oh please you're soooo funny."
((Sorry I’m not getting notifications about this :( ))He chuckled lightly, looking at her again. “Well alright, your the boss.” He said “for now.” He teased and took a big spoonful of ice cream.
“It’s not fair if I’m grounded and your not.@ she said to him trying to look like she was serious
She laughs kissing him softly. Grabbing the container she sets it on the night stand and lays on top of him. “I’m tired.” She mumbled. Daniel laughs hugging her. “Fine I guess you’re not grounded.”
Jackson grinned as he watched her, letting her take the ice cream tub away. “You are?” He asked her She giggled gently but smiled brightly “good.. now. Let’s get these two pups to bed.” She said
Alexis nods laying her head on his chest. “I love you no matter what happens.” She mumbles quietly. Daniel nods picking one of them up. “Yeah.”
He held her gently as she laid on him and he closed his eyes. “I love you too.” He said softly “I’m sorry I kept it from you.” She looked at him as she carried one of the pups. “They’re so cute when they’re tired.”
Alexis shakes her head clinging onto his shirt softly. "We should work on not keeping secrets from each other." She laughs quietly . Daniel nods. "Yeah they look cuter than you." He teases.
He gently put his arms around her waist, looking at her as she laid on top of him. “Yes, I agree. I’m sorry.” He said once again, feeling terrible for keeping it from her. “No more secrets.” He added quietly. She laughed with a soft pout. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Alexis lets out a hum. "I'm honestly not even tired anymore. This morning I found someone standing by the trees watching us. I looked away and he was gone so I thought I was crazy. But then a few pack members went missing awhile ago suddenly. But that man was so strange. He just stood there staring at me refusing to blink. Maybe I'm going crazy but what if he's from another pack?"Daniel shakes his head. "Oh nothing honey nothing at all."
He raised an eyebrow as he looked at her, thinking about what she said “what do you mean? Watching us? Like at the wedding? Did you recognise him?” He asked, wanting to get a few answers hopefully. She laughed softly “Your such a tease baby.” She said, looking st their niece and nephew as they slept.
Alexis shrugs. "He wasn't looking at you. When you went off with Daniel and I was doing something he would just sit there and stare at me. I made eye contact with him and it didn't feel good like the vibe was scary."
He didn’t like the sound of this guy, who was this guy? “And when you looked away and back he was gone?” He asked to confirm, needing to understand
Alexis nods. "Yeah like it was like he wasn't there anymore. It was just strange is all. Maybe I was just seeing things you know? From all the stress and stuff."
Daniel looks at the door. "What do you think is happening."
