Alexis laughs quietly looking back at Jackson. "Well hello to you too." She mumbles, leaning back into his chest.

He grinned just slightly against her neck, still holding her hips. "You smell good babe" he said quietly as he breathed in her scent also

Alexis moved away from him shaking her head. "That's sort of creepy." She laughs. Alexis moves over to his bed and sat down. She looks up at him and smiles.

he looked at her again, watching her sit down. "it wasnt meant to be." he said awkwardly, clearly he sucked at this

She bit her lip shaking her head. "I was joking Jackson. Come here." She says, holding her hands out.

He watched her curiously as he walked over, taking her hands in his, wondering if she could sense what he was thinking.

She pulled him down with her and laid there. "What's wrong?" She asks quietly.

Daniel woke up after a while looking around the room.

Jackson looked at her as he laid on his bed, he sighed slightly. "Im just worried..." he said

Ana was in the bathroom attached to his room in the shower, still upset from everything.

Alexis moves closer to him grabbing his hand. "About what?"

Daniel looks at the nurse of the pack. "Where's Ana?" He asks.

He sighed a little, looking down at their hands "everything. My pack, daniels injured, ana's a mess from all of his shit, now simon is trying to take over Daniels roll while he's injured, youre obviously still not finding this change easy, im trying to ,ake the chsnge easy for you, my pack is falling apart while i just stand and watch it happen. Im trying to keep everyone safe and alive but while doing that im draining myself of everything and actually not keeping my pack safe at all and i havnt eaten in 5 days. And now my brothers got into my head about you being my mate and.." he groaned, closing his eyes after spilling out everything in one long sentence. "I just cant seem to do it all right now."

She looked at him as she checked his vitals. "She was here. She we t for a rest and to freshen up."

"But I want Ana Macey." Daniel says.

Alexis sits up. "How about this. I'll help you rebuild the pack step by step. But for now you go eat and anything about you being my mate gets put on hold. You're to stressed and I'm going to help you out by just stepping to the side lines for a while. I'm getting used to the change and stuff and I plan on being fully for it. But I think I should go and stay on the side lines for a while longer." Alexis says. "Do what you think is more important."

She nodded "i know.. daniel she wont be much longer i promise... shes been by your side all day while you slept." She said

Jackson looked at her again as she tried to help him. "You staying on the side lines doesnt really sound nice to me... but... if you think thats what you need then ok... i promise ill be back in 20." He said as he sat up reluctantly, he needed to go huntjing but he couldnt leave his pack for long.

Daniel looks around. "I need her." He cries out.

Alexis watched him leave as she sighed.

Macey nodded "ok daniel just relax. Ill go get her ok" she said

Jackson glanced back at her when he was stepping out, he signed reluctantly but went off, heading out to hunt alone.

After Alexis was sure he was gone she stood up and walked around.

Daniel nods. "Okay."

She smiled slightly before walking out to find Analisia, hoping she was done in the shower.

Jackson immediately went running though the forest surrounding their home, his starvation and hunger for food overwhelming when he caught multiple scents of prey. He went on hunting for longer than he told Alexis he would be.

Daniel laid there looking up at the ceiling.

Alexis kept walking around trying to memorize where everything was. She waited for Jackson to get back so she could talk about what they were.

Macey returned after a while with Ana and then left the two.
Ana looked at him as she slowly walked on, still not sure if they were together or what?

Kackson retjrned pver an hour later, he had blood from hks prey smeared across his face which he didnt realise and also on his clothes. He stepped back i to his room, sweaty and instsntly pulled his shirt off.

Alexis was sitting outside and was looking up at the sunset. Alexis wanted them to be something but it looked like Jackson didn't.


Daniel looked over at Ana. "Ana. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you. I love you. Please understand that." He whispers.

He took a quick shower getting alk the blood off him then gt dressed, as he stood by the window pulling a shirt on he noticed Alexis out on the balcony of his bedroom, he walked out to her, dtill putting his shirt on and sat beside her. "Hey... thank you." He said, sitting close to her and putting his hand by hers, wanting to hold it but wasnt sure how she felt aboout it.

She took a seat by his bed, nodding slightly. "Im sorry too, iv tmade things hard between us." She said

Daniel grabs her hand kissing it softly. "I made it hard between us as well." He mumbles.

Alexis grabs his hand softly. "What are we?"

She kissed his hand softly also "im sorry" she said again to him

Jackson looked at her again. "Well... i really like you." He said

Daniel shakes his head. "No I'm sorry."

Alexis nods moving closer to him. "But you don't have the room or time to have a mate."

"Were both sorry, can we please agree to tell each other everything." She asked him

Jackson frowned at her comment "of course i do... ill always have time and the space for you, a mate,." He said

Alexis smiles softly. She moves into his side and rests her head on his chest. "I know we're mates Jackson. Want to know how?"

Ana smiled softly before she moved closer to his bed. "When do they think you can get out from here?" She asked

Jackson looked down skightky at her as she leaned on his chest, he raised an eyebrow "how do you know?" He askes her

Alexis smiles. "Because I can feel this bond between us. It just feels like we're really meant to be you know?"

She nodded slightky, watching him as she relaxed beside the bed, "daniel?"

Jackson nodded slightky as he looked at her, oissing her head gently, "i know... i can feel it too" he said, watching her. "Alexis, i really want to be with you, every way."

Daniel looked over at her. "What's up?" He asks, turning his head to look at her.

Alexis moves closer to him resting her head on his shoulder. "So do I Jackson. I really do. So can we give it a shot?"

She gently reached over and held his hand, bitting her lip softly, hoping he wouldnt get upset or angry like before. "I... when youre better and healed.. i want to try for a pup." She said

Jackson put his arm around her waist again, smiling some more, finally he felt like so,ething was right, that now he kmew what he was doing, "yes, of course." He said

Daniel nods. "Okay I'm up for it but it's going to be a while. You know your best friend saved me just in time. A second longer I wouldn't be here. So thank her for me will you?"

Alexis bites her lip softly. "I'm heading to bed." She mumbles sleepily.

Ana nodded "i knkw it is, and i want you to be healed before we start trying but i juet wanted to tell you." She said then smiled a little, she nodded again. "I will, but you can also thank her yourself," she said.

Jackson looked at her again, he nodded slightly. "Alright.. ill come back inside anyway." He said, "did... do you want to stay in youre room?" He asked

Daniel nods softly. "My back hurts." He mumbles.

Alexis nods. "Yeah, we can if you want. I don't mind really. But I prefer my room I mean look at this scary mess!" She points to the dusty hardwood floors.

She nodded as she flet go of his hand softly, "lie back down and rest." She said

Jackson realised she thought of them both staying in her room which was sweet and he liked it, he wanted to he just hadnt meant that.. not yet. He narrowed his eyes as he closed the door to the balcony. "Hey.. my rooms not messy... i keep this room neat and tiddy thank you very much." He said, holding her hand again. "Which one? Mine or yours?"

Daniel nods closing his eyes. "Goodnight Ana." He mumbles.

Alexis yawns. "We can do your room. Besides I think I'm going to fall over sooner or later so lets just sleep." She mumbles, quietly as her eyes keep drooping closed.

Ana smiled as she watched him, she gently kissed his head. "Goodnight my love" she said

He chuckled and noddes, he was already in his pj pants so now he just took his tshirt back off, he often slept topless. His scars and tattoos prominent of his torso. He pulled back the bed sheets for them both, taking away the pillows and cushions they didnt need, doing it all for her,

Alexis watched him admiring his scars and the way his muscles flexed as he moved everything away. After a while of waiting she climbed into the bed and watched him. Her eyes wondered every part of his face as she tried to memorize every little thing about him.

Jackson looked at her again once he was finished with the bed, he turned his bedside light on then went to the door and turned the bedroom light off, he walked back over to her. "You seem... transfixed." He said to her, watching he as he climbed into bed also.

Alexis laughed quietly moving closer to him. "I don't know. I guess I'm just wondering where I'd be if you never made the effort to save me or my dad never handed me over. Would I be here? Or would my body have given up in that basement. But now that I see that I'm here I guess I just want to keep the things I care about most close to me. I want to remember every single detail." She whispers.

Jackson looked down at her slightly, listening intently to everything she said, she really meant a lot to him and he always took care of his pack members. "I wiukd still be fighting for you if you werent here." He said to her, assuring her that was true. "Im never going to let anything oike thst happen to you again, or anyone from my pack." He said. "Our pack" he added quietly

Alexis nods. "I know you would. And I'm so thankful that you would do that for me," She mumbles. "Having you as a mate may not be the worst thing in the world you know. But you're so busy and I don't want to get in the way of your work. Your pack means so much more to you than me and I'm scared I'm going to strip that away from you."

He chuckled a little ast her comment, "the worst thing in the world... what did you expect it to be like?" He asked her jokingly, then he went quiet again as she spoke about his pack. "Alexis you have to realise youre part of my pack now, which means youre never going to get in my way or strip me of it... besides.. im always busy because iv got noone as a mate, until now to keep from driving myself insane.. i needed you to come along, my entire pack knew that but i didnt, i just knew that as part of my job as pack leader i had to save you, and i would do it again in a heart beat if i had to, but not only because of my job did i have to save you, it was also because i needed to find my mate and now i have to learn to stop being busy over little things my pack does." He said to her

Alexis smiles. "I'm glad that I could be here for you. I want to be here for you. So if you're stressed or something then please come to me. I'll be here to keep you busy." She teases softly, grabbing his hand.

He smiled as he looked at her, holding her hand when she took his. "Of course, ill come to you when im stressed or whatever, and ill just come to you anyway because youre my mate and i wanna be with you always." He said then chuckled "Oh youll keep me busy now too?" He asked, leaning towards hers,

Alexis smiles nodding. "Oh yes I will. So busy you won't have to worry about the really small stuff. When ever you're with me and you're stressed it's just you and me." She whispers.

Jackson grinned with again another small chuckle, he leaned even closer to her. "Ok well the really small stuff is stressing me now so what can my beautiful mate do to help?" He winked a lottle

He grinned and kissed her back softly, moving closer again, holding her waist now with his free hand
