An autobiography serialised on Radio 4 in which a gentleman is given dispensation from his wife to go away with his friend and play each of the Scottish Links before his scheduled brain surgery. It was probably within the last ten years or so. The title may have / should have been something like 'Zen and the art of golf', and captured me with its descriptions of playing round sheep in sea gales. I don't normally like golf, but I've been craving this book since I heard it, it was immensely full of soul.
