Well folks, this is the end of the road. After 2+ years and dozens of episodes, I have decided to end Let's Read Together.
Recording these episodes has been so much fun, but at this time I feel ready to call it quits. If I'm being totally honest, my heart hasn't been in this podcast for the past few episodes and while I have had fun recording them with the fantastically funny guests, it's not something I look forward to as much as I used to.
From the very first fake book review with Jarrid Reed, to giggling like a child with Lawson Leong, to giving Patrick J. Reilly a bad review on his own book, to doing impressions of Woody Allen and Jerry Seinfeld with Myles Hewette, to learning about The South with Drew Whitney Morgan, to roasting both Stephen King and Ernest Hemingway this has been an amazing experience.
I will be releasing the final two episodes on Tuesday, August 16th and Tuesday, August 30th.
Thank you everyone who has listened to, subscribed to, or been on this podcast. You helped me take a weird, stupid idea and make it a real thing. Maybe someday I'll have another crazy idea for a podcast and I hope you'll be back to listen when I do.
