So Siuan manages to get herself back in with the Aes Sedai in exile by promising to hook them up with her spies. She also gets them to consider electing a new Arymlyn, and envisions someone that she'll be able to manipulate from the wings.

Gareth Byrne shows up and pretty immediately gives in to commanding an army to help them take back Tar Valon. Seems to give in too easily. I guess he doesn't like his chances with the Aes Sedai if he says no.

Meanwhile Rand and Avasarala finally get it out in the open. They have to have a chase through the snowy lands of the Seanchan after Avasarala accidentally creates a portal there. Love triangle. Ugh..

Meanwhile Nyneave nearly is captured by Mogadine, and only escapes thanks to Bridgette whose now disappeared leaving her silver bow behind. That doesn't sound good..

Did you mean Aviendha ?

Also Bryne becomes a commander for army of Aes sedai opposing Elaida, but not before he lays out his conditions. He tells Aes sedai

1. Not to interfere with his army.
2. To go all the way, and not leave them in the middle.

Also regarding that portal did Asmodean create that portal ?

And no, the portal was created by Aviendha, kept open by Rand and hidden by Asmodean.
