Trying to find book series and its driving me crazy!!

So there was a series of books I read a few years ago and I want to read them again. Its based in the Louisiana bayou. I think they were angels. I believe they were cousins or brothers. They had a aunt they called Tante. And she would make them do the dance scene from the movie "Michael". I can't figure who the author is and its making my brain hurt. Help if you can :)
