This young adolescent book is a good book to read and help you realize how vital it is to value your own life. For it can be taken from us within instance regardless of who you are. The book begins with two High school students practicing for a drama they will present. The two young men are best friends, Ben the main character is facing a huge dilemma. His friend Niko can tell something is wrong and is determined to figure out what the big mystery or secret is. However it isn't long before Niko figures it out and tells Ben's girlfriend Ariel, whom feels betrayed and devastated. At last the day of departure arrives and Ben is adamant about leaving and tells his friends he will return soon. However, something happens when he is deployed and returns differently.
Will Ariel still be willing to marry him and will he be able to go to the university?

This is an easy read and a very good story that helps us remember to be proud of our soldiers and to keep them in our prayers. I hope others will like the book as it is written in easy format as a journal.
