Eli shook his head. "Don't like them. At all..."
"Because I can't read them or anything very well."
She furrowed her eyebrows. "You can't.. Read?"
"I can read. Just it never makes sense. Somewhere in the process everything gets jumbled."
"Huh. What kind of art do you like to do?" She asked, biting her lip. She loved reading, and didn't know how he dealt with it.
"All kinds." He said softly with a shrug.
She smiled. "I bet you're really good," she said.
She yawned, looking at him. She took off his hoodie.
"I don't really draw much anymore..." He commented softly.
"Why not?" She asked, giving him his hoodie back. She figured they were going to seperate again.
"It's not like I have a ton of art supplies lying around. Plus, it's just a waste of time.."
"Don't say that! It's not a waste of time if you like it." She said, biting her lip.
Eli shrugged. "Well, it's not like anyone is gonna see my art anymore or anything...."
"I'll see it.. If you let me, at least," she said, sighing.
Eli shrugged. He bit his lip and opened up his backpack.
She clapped excitedly, moving next to him.
She watched him, turning her attention to the sketchbook.
He bit his lip and flipped through the sketchbook.
"Hey, can I hold it?" She asked softly, looking at him.
Eli hesitated before handing it to her.
She smiled, looking at the first sketch. "Damn, you drew this?" She said, amazed.
"I drew everything that's in there..."
"It's really good, wow," she said, flipping through it.((I gtg, might be back later idk))
She stopped on a drawing, biting her lip. "Man, I wish I could draw," she said breathily.
Eli shrugged. He reached to take his sketchbook back. It having a couple drawings he didn't want her seeing. Them about his past/family.
She handed it to him. "Thanks for showing me," she said softly.
"I have approximately 0 talents, so I can't show you anything," she said.
"Yeah, I used to be on the track team, and that was it, but I'm pretty out of shape, so I'm not great at anything."
She looked up. "Are you gonna stay?" She asked.
She smiled. "Hm, that was unexpected," she said, moving again so her back was to the tree trunk.
"Why are you staying?" She asked, beginning to put stuff away in her bag.
"I dunno." He shrugged. (You know what sucks? Gaining a boyfriend just to pretty much lose one of your closest friends.....)
"Am I growing on you?" She teased, grinning.((God, Kai, that sucks so bad. Is she the one you were going to ask out? What even happened?))
She smiled proudly. "Haha, yes!" She exclaimed.
"Alright, wanna go to my campsite?" She asked, looking at him
