She crossed her arms, her shoulders shaking a little. The man didn't say anything, and she glanced at Eli.

"It's alright. We can always leave if needed." He said, whispering in her ear.
"I-I know." She said softly, shaking even more. The man looked at them. "Come in," he said, watching them.
Eli noticed the shaking. He hesitantly offered a hand to her. Wanting to help keep her calm. He stepped inside carefully, looking around.
She took his hand and squeezed really hard. "Sorry," she said, loosening her grip. The man went up to somebody sitting ima chair, saying something.
"It's alright." Eli assured, looking around. He watched the man as they spoke to someone.
Ella took a deep breath, still wary of the man. He turned around, done talking. "We're going to have a town meeting, introducing you two." He said.
"Alright.." Eli smiled faintly, nodding.
Ella let go of his hand, nodding as well. "Okay.." she said. The man smiled at them both, motioning for them to follow him.
Eli followed, keeping an eye on Ella to make sure she was okay.
Ella's shaking had stopped a bit. She didn't know what was happening. The man led them to an empty circle of dirt, motioning for them to stand in one side.
Eli raised an eyebrow but followed instructions, watching around them carefully.
Ella followed him. The man blew a horn, and soon enough people began filling out the circle.
Eli watched the people, studying for threats or people who may be important.
Ella saw a ton of old people, very few people her age, and one or two children. She took his hand again, nervous.
Eli tilted his head slightly, watching one of the children. To him, the boy looked a lot like his little brother.
Ella looked at him and followed his gaze. "He looks a lot like you," she commented, frowning. The man from earlier began yelling a speech. "Today, we have been approached by these teenagers," he started.
"I know." Eli mumbled. Watching the boy. The boy must've noticed and looked over, tilting his head. After a second, his eyes lit up. "LIAS!" The boy screamed, running toward him. It was Eli's little brother Luke
Ella smiled widely, watching Eli. Everybody was silent, including the man. Ella assumed it was Luke, and she was really happy for Eli.
Eli knelt, surprised but quickly hugged his brother. "I'm sorry luke. I've got you. I'm sorry.." Eli mumbled quietly.
Ella bit her lip, wishing her sister was back too. She doubted it, she watched her die. Ella looked back at the man, who looked surprised. "Well, it seems that Luke has found his brother, huh?" He said, laughing.
Eli stood with Luke still in his arms, Luke talking quietly. Eli smiled faintly.
Ella glanced at him and smiled, crossing her arms. It was safe to say she was a little jealous. The man continued speaking, but she wasn't paying attention.
Luke eventually buried his face in Eli's chest, falling quiet.
"What a coincidence," she whispered to him, smiling.
"He's adorable." She said, genuinely happy for him.
Ella didn't say anything, the man finishing his speech. Everybody clapped, and then dispersed.
"We should probably head back for our stuff." He commented.
"Good idea, are we taking Luke?" She aksed, looking at him.
"I don't think he's gonna let me go so yeah. I guess." Eli shrugged
"Alright. Should I introduce myself then?" She asked, not really sure.
Eli shrugged. "Luke it's okay. You don't need to hide. I've got you..." He said softly to him
Ella bit her lip and watched, not saying anything. She didn't want to scare him further, and Eli seemed to have it under cintrol.
Luke looked up at him slowly. Eli smiled softly. "You should Meet my friend Ella. She's really nice.." Eli said gently.
Ella smiled, looking at Luke. "Hi," she said, waving awkwardly. She looked at Eli, not sure what to do.
Luke looked at her and waved. Eli bit his lip lightly.
Ella smiled even wider, really happy. "I've heard loads about you, you seem super cool," she said, crouching down slightly to be eye to eye with him.
Luke offered her a faint smile before hiding his face again
Ella stood up straight again, looking at Eli. She smiled, looking back at Luke.
"He's adorable," she said again, looking at Luke.
"Hey Luke? How old are you?" She asked, wanting him to talk to her more.
"Wow, really? When's your birthday?" She asked, smiling.
Ella's smile faltered and she looked at Eli. "Let's get our stuff."
Eli nodded. "Okay. And he'll warm up to you. He just needs to get used to you..." He assured her softly.
