"You are self centered." He stated simply.

"Do I need to draw pictures too so you'll understand?" He taunted.
She clenched her jaw to stop herself from saying anything she would regret.
He hesitated slightly before turning to walk away.
She was mentally thinking if things she could've said, some of them really rude. Ella watched him go, still mad.
He walked back to his camp, not looking back or saying a word.
Ella groaned loudly. She had to find him, out of all the people still alive.
Ella wanted to go over to him and get really mad, but she stopped herself.
Eli honestly wouldn't care if she came and screamed at him. It didn't matter.
Ella took a couple of breaths. Her brother would've yelled at her to man up, to stop taking Eli's remarks.
He didn't mean to be rude. He just didn't know how else to deal with how she acted.
Ella groaned again. She began to walk in the direction he had went, coming up with what to say to him as she walked.
Eli sat down by the River, watching the water.
Ella saw him, and she walked behind him, sitting down. "Okay, look. What do you have against me?" She asked.
"Who says I have anything against you?"
"You just pick fights and call me rude for no real reason, and I don't know what I've done wrong!" She exclaimed.
She crossed her arms. "Am I really that bad?" She asked.
"Why did you call me self-centered? I mean, I am rude, but self centered?"
"You are self centered. You act like the universe owes you something.."
"How so?" She asked, genuinely curious.
"You whine about every little thing?" He suggested
"True. And?" She asked, faking nonchalance, hiding that he had hit a sore spot.
"Whoops. Wait, give me an example of when I've been whiny?"
"Yes, seriously." She said, biting her lip.
She bit her lip, mad. "Your parents must've been miserable around you," she muttered without thinking.
"My parents didn't give a fuck about me." He replied coldly.
"No surprise. I wonder if anybody actually did," she said, standing up.
"Someone did, they still do." He muttered under his breath.
"Who? Yourself?" She said, rolling her eyes as she picked up her bag.
"Luke." He muttered, talking about his little brother.
Eli glared, quickly standing. His hands were clenched in fists and he looked ready to punch her.
"Hm, you look like my brother," she said nonchalantly, actually pretty scared. She hated the feeling of being weaker than someone.
Eli remained quiet, trying to calm himself down rather than knock her out.
"Here, go ahead and punch me. I'm used to it." She said, her voice wavering slightly, but she stared at him defiantly.
Eli didn't say a word, turning away from her.
"Thought so." She said, bitterly. She hated herself for feeling so weak.
"Would you just shut up for a minute?"
She bit her lip, crossing her arms. Ella also hated being told to shut up, as being talkative was second nature to her.
Eli sighed and took a breath, closing his eyes.
"What's wrong? Did I hurt your feelings?" She said teasingly, frowning.
