"You were pretty good. Did you do any track before?"
"I think you would be. Probably at short distance more than long distance though."
"It's fun, especially during competition."
She shrugged back. She cracked her fingers.
She smiled, pushing hair out of her face.
"So." She said, not wanting to walk in silence.
Ella looked ahead of her, avoiding his gaze.
Ella examined her nails, somewhat grossed out.
"I don't like being quiet," she said, groaning.
"But I don't like talking to someone who doesn't talk back." She said.
"I've replied to pretty much everything that you've said!" He argued.
"Fine. I mean, you don't like talking, and you said you were fine with silence so," she said, shrugging. She hated to be a bother.
"Are you done acting like the world revolves around you yet?"
"I'm not! Are you done with being a stuck-up, selfish bastard?" She said, mad.
"You're the one throwing a fit for me just being myself." He stated coldly.
"And you're the one calling me self-centered when I'm being myself too." She said, her voice wavering.
She crossed her arms, not saying anything.
"I'm sorry," she grumbled, looking at him. She was being pretty self-centered.
"Sorry is just an empty word with you."
"Jeez, and I'm the rude one? I was being genuine, but if you're not going to believe me, fine." She said.
"You've said it multiple times and you're still actin the same way."
"I'm not even the one saying anything! You started it by calling me self-centered."
