"Talk to me..." He suggested.

"Hm, you're gonna want to rip my tongue out. I can talk up a storm," she said, shrugging. She remembered her brother alway complaining about how much she talked.
She shrugged. "You asked for it..." Ella took a deep breath, thinking of what to say. "Middle school was such a bad time for me. I had the whole braces, acne, glasses thing going on in sixth grade, but when I got older I got prettier and my skin cleared and my teeth straightened and I got contacts. I was a part of the 'popular' group, I guess. They were... Terrible. I had to watch the guys bully my old friends, and they would always laugh about anybody who didn't hang out with us. The girls were even worse, competing to be the skinniest, the most fashionable, the more spoiled. I used to be so invested in it and I hate myself for it. My real friends were who I should've hung out with, not them." She said, feeling guilt.
She nodded, shrugging. "They were so much funnier and just nicer to be around. I could've gotten my brother to beat them up anyways. Actually, I'm pretty sure that's why I was a part of that group in the first place, they were afraid."
"Probably why nobody asked me out wither. I knew guys liked me, but my brother was big and people were afraid of him." She said, shrugging.
"True. I know tons of girls who got drugged at dances and some of them got raped, or just really hurt," she said softly, biting her lip.
"Try a lot. I've never even been kissed properly. Guys have had the nerve to kiss my cheek, but got yelled at by my brother and never talked to me again."
"That sucks." Eli said softly. He knew he'd probably be the same way if he had a little sister though.
"I think it was because he didn't want my heart broken. None of them were my soul mates, but I wanted to have fun."
Ella frowned. "I would've preferred a bad breakup over never seeing anyone, and always being known as the girl who couldn't pick up a guy," she muttered.
"No. I don't think that was rude. I just have been in a few rough break ups and it just doesn't seem worth it."
"How bad were they? Tell me about them, I need as many details about love as I can get, cause I barely experienced anything."
"Well, I have the opposite perspective compared to you considering I'm a guy so I doubt any of this will be interesting or whatever.." Eli commented. "Let's see. I've had a total of like 4 girlfriends." He said, counting mentally.
"It's fine, it's better than me being nervous. Oh, that's so nice! Were they sweet? Ooh, were they cute?" She asked, grinning.
"Tell me everything about them, I'm curious," she said, smiling and closing her eyes, so she could imagine them.
"That is a shitty thing to do. Wow, my brother got cheered on for it, honestly, his friends would laugh as he beat up his girlfriend."
