"No, you've got to. Ever won anything?" She asked softly, glancing at him.

"Nothing of any importance..." He answered.
"You've got to have done something that made you proud! Learned a new art technique?"
Eli shook his head, not really wanting to talk.
Ella sighed. "God, having a conversation with you is hard," she mumbled.
She bit her lip. "I'm sorry too," she said, realizing she had been rude.
"Hey, just in advance, if I ever talk too much, you have full permission to tell me to shut up," she said, yawning.
"I think I'm actually going to get some sleep before I collapse. Try and sleep too, okay?" She said, standing.
Ella smiled, walking over to her campsite. She crossed her arms, slightly scared by walking alone in the dark.
Eli bit his lip, watching her walk away. (I currently have a 514% in my online personal fitness class.....)
She stopped walking. She fished in her backpack for a flashlight, turning it on.(Good thing or a bad thing?)
(That's like super good considering grades are usually on a 100% scale....))Eli looked back at the fire in front of him.
(Yes, that's what I thought. Online personal fitness? I barely even went outside these last few days, except for swim yesterday and today.)She yelped, seeing a huge bug. She took a deep breath and ran around it, shuddering.
(Yeah. Basically it's a heart rate tracker and you're supposed to log certain amounts of activity time and then complete the online assignments)Eli jumped, hearing the yelp
(Fun...)"Sorry, a cockroach," she called. Ella hated bugs, and the floor was crawling with them.
Eli chuckled lightly. ((Meh. I don't have to do extra exercise though.)
"Not funny," she grumbled, seeing another cockroach.((GOD, I'm so so sorry! I just crashed!))
((It's okay.)Eli shrugged. "It's a bit funny!"
"There are so many, Jesus Christ," she said, biting her lip. "I'm scared of moving," she whispered, a cockroach coming dangerously close to her.((I just finished all my homework. And I'm probably gonna go to sleep soon too.))
Eli sighed, standing up. (Alright, well I was asleep by the time you sent that post.....)
She shrieked, the bug coming on to her foot. "Get it off of me!" She screamed, shaking her foot.
(Eh, I hadn't meant to fall asleep but then again, I was exhausted.)Eli laughed, walking to find her
(That sounds like me.)She was nearing tears. "It's not funny!" She said.
(Yeah, I have to get up at like 4;30 tomorrow morning.. And then 3 AM next saturday)"Yes, it kinda is.."
(Gross! Go to bed!!)"No, it isn't," she said, finally shaking off the bug. She shuddered.
(I'm not tired!!)Eli shrugged, walking up next to her.
(You have to get up rlly early..))She crossed her arms. "That was embarrassing," she said softly, still somewhat traumatized.
((I know.)"Want me to walk you the rest of the way back?"
"I... Yeah, okay," she said, sounding defeated.(Have fun with that. Tomorrow I'm going to this party from tomorrow at like 3 to the next morning.))
((Have fun) "Lead the way." He told her.
"But... There are tons of bugs, I don't even want to move," she whined.((I'll try. How's the stuff with your friend going??)
(Which friend?)"Want to go back wit me then?" He suggested.
(The one who you were gonna ask out.)"Unless you carry me, which I will not let happen, then no."
(The girl or the guy?? Cause they both wanted to ask me out...)Eli sighed. Not knowing what to tell her.
(The girl, lol)"I'll just... Stand here and not move," she said, smiling at him.
(We stopped talking for a few days and then worked it out so things are normal between us now.) Eli rolled his eyes.
"Don't do that, it's rude. Five, I'll come back with you, but it's not my fault if I scream bloody murder cause of all the cockroaches."(Yay!)
Eli rolled his eyes. He easily lifted her off of her feet, starting to walk. (Yeah.)
"No! Put me down!" She yelled, slapping his arm.
"The bugs can't get you. Now you'll maybe quit complaining." He said softly.
"Fine, but it was still impolite of you to pick me up even after I said I wouldn't let you." She said, really uncomfortable.
"I'll set you down in a few." He promised. "Then you can punch me if it'll make you feel better."
"I don't punch people, sorry. I try to avoid hitting people all together," she said, sighing.
"'M sorry for complaining a bunch," she said.
