"Gosh, that's terrible. I'm sorry." She said, sighing.

"Don't be sorry. It's not like you were one of them.."
She sighed, glancing at him. "If I had known you before, I would've hung out with you," she commented.
"We probably didn't even live anywhere near eachother." Eli shrugged.
"I lived in California. The beaches were so amazing, and the people were too," she said softly.
Eli smiled faintly and nodded. "I've been there a couple times..."
"Yeah? My friends all lived in the city, so I would have this huge party and they'd all come to my beach house and I loved it." She said.
"And Hannah would yell at me because the music was too loud, or something. My friends all laughed at her and turned it up, and she would always come out and dance with us," she said, smiling and looking at the fire.
"That must've been nice." He commented.
She sighed, glancing at him. "It was, but its not happening again any time soon."
Eli shrugged. "So? You still have the memories and stuff. Those won't go away."
She grinned. "Philosophical, hm?" She said, looking at him.
Eli sighed softly. "Whatever..' He looked away from her
"You any good at dancing?" She asked, smiling.
"No thanks." He replied with a soft sigh.
"Yeah, c'mon," she said, standing and offering him a hand.
"No. I don't dance." He shook his head.
"Please? I'm the only one here." She said, pouting.
She smiled widely. "Alright, let's do this!"
"Fine. Never mind then, if you're gonna be like this," she sighed.
"You're the one telling me to dance when I do not dance."
"Let's just... Slow dance? That's weird though, but it's easy."
She awkwardly put her hands on his shoulders. "Put your hands on my hips," she murmured.
Eli did as she said, lightly placing his hands at her waist.
She looked at him. "Alright, so pretend there's music," she said, laughing.
"Step forward with your left foot, once slow and once fast and then I'll move my right foot and then we do that again, but different feet." She explained.
She stepped back with her right foot, watching him.
He followed her instructions, stepping forward with his left foot.
