Eli avoided thinking about anything else. Just focusing on throwing the rocks.

She cleared her throat, aware of her surroundings. She missed her sister too, she would've given her advice.
Eli kept throwing rocks. Not caring as it started to get dark out.
She stretched out her legs. She was going to go on a run, something she hadn't done in a long time.
Eli eventually stopped, sighing and looking around,.
She looked around, seeing a path. She left her stuff there, knowing it would drag her down. Running used to clear her mind a lot.
She began running, feeling a familiar burn in her legs.
Eli heard noise, unaware that it was her running. He listened closely.
She took a path that was nowhere near the river, her lungs beginning to tighten.
Eli sighed as the noise got quieter and bit his lip lightly.
She was really out of shape. She knew she could've run without breaking a sweat when she was still on the track team.
He sighed and shook his head. Eli gathered some wood and lit a small fire.
She was out of breath. She turned around, jogging back to her campsite. It did clear her head.
Eli sat beside the fire, watching the flames.
She saw the fire. She knew it was Eli, so she stayed away.
Ella finally reached the campsite. She had a thin layer of sweat on her forehead.
Eli stayed by the fire, not planning on sleeping.
She sighed. She headed to the fire, biting her lip.
"Sorry for being rude," she grumbled, coming up behind him.
Eli jumped slightly, glancing at her. "Whatever.." He shrugged
She didn't say anything, sitting down. "You should get some rest." She said softly, avoiding his gaze.
"So? I don't like sleeping." He shrugged.
She sighed, shrugging. "Your choice. Still, you need it," she said.
She looked at him. "Wow, am I not allowed to care?" She asked defensively, hiding the real reason.
"I didn't say that. I simply was asking why?"
She shrugged. It was just that he was similar to her brother in almost every way, and he never slept and was always tired.
Eli bit his lip lightly, looking at the fire
She sighed. "You know what would have been great? If we had marshmallows."
She looked away. She felt uncomfortable.
She had a slight frown on her face, looking at him.
"The timer thing is so stupid," she muttered.
"Oh well. Someone thought it was a good idea.." He shrugged.
She didn't say anything, looking down at her wrist. The numbers were still all zeroes.
She traced them, glancing at him. "Tell me a story?" She asked, in a small voice. She wanted to get her mind off of the timer.
"Aw, please? Just tell me something from your past, something stupid. Here, what was your proudest moment?"
Eli shrugged, not having any goof ideas for a story.
She sighed. "Tell me anything. I dunno, the first time you hate someone?"
