"Mhm. Night, Eli," Ella said, getting into her sleeping bag.((Time skip?))
"Night." Eli said softly. (Sure. You start?)
((Yup.))Ella groaned, the light attacking her eyes. She sat up, looking around.
Eli was asleep nearby. His back against a tree and one hand protectively over his bandaged side.
Ella saw him, and she smiled. She stood, stretching quietly.
Eli was a light sleeper. But he hadn't heard her up and moving yet.
She wiped her eyes, deciding to go find something to eat.
He remained asleep, exhausted from yesterday.
She sighed, moving again. She knew there was a strawberry patch near here, so she started to head for that.
Eli heard the faint movement of her leaving but still didn't wake.
She headed to the river first, going to wash her face.
Ella dried her face with the hem of her shirt, going to pick strawberries. She had forgot her basket, so she grabbed as many as she could, eating a few.
Eli opened his eyes and looked around.
Ella stepped through the leaves, not far away.
He frowned not recalling where he was and not seeing her.
She made her way back to the campsite. "Morning," she said.
Eli jumped slightly. "Oh. Hi. Morning.."
She sat in front of him. "Sleep well?"
"You guess?" She questioned, looking at him.
"Why? Was I snoring too loud?" She joked, curious.
"No. Just couldn't sleep." He shrugged
"You should've woken me up, I could've helped," she said.
"It's not something worth waking you Over..."
She rolled her eyes. "Coulda at lest kept you company. And wake me up, I don't mind."
She ate a strawberry, throwing the leaf part to her side.
"I wanted to brush my hair, which is a whole-day thing, but since you're here.." She said, shrugging.
Eli shrugged. "I should probably go to my campsite..."
She nodded, looking at him. "Okay," she said, standing.
Eli nodded. "You wanna come with me or?"
"Oh, yeah, sure?" She said, confused. She thought he was leaving her.
Eli figured she didn't want him to leave.
"You don't have to come if you don't want to. It was just an offer..."
"No, I want to come. You're growing on me too," she said, scrunching up her nose.
She crossed her arns. "Where to?" She asked.
