She stood up, offering him a hand.

Eli hesitantly took her hand and stood up
She dropped his hand. "You sure you'll be okay to walk?" She asked.
"Yeah. I think so." He nodded. Picking up his stuff.
She nodded back. "I'll carry your stuff," she said.
"I can get it." He replied, slipping his bag over one shoulder.
"No, you're gonna get hurt, Eli," she said, crossing her arms.
"I'll at least try to carry it. If I need help, I'll ask."
"Please let me hold your stuff? I'll feel terrible if you don't let me," she said.
She bit her lip, not sure what to say.
Eli sighed softly. He glanced to the body he killed, mumbling something softly.
She glanced over at him. "You okay?" She asked.
Eli finished what he was saying before nodding.
She sighed and looked at the floor, rubbing her face.
She kept waking, staring at the ground.
She looked up, smiling. "Yeah, totally," she said. She really missed her parents.
"They're your family, how could you not miss them?"
"Because I've taught myself not to. I dunno."
She frowned. "Were they nice though?" She asked.
Eli shrugged. "It's not like I had a traditional family..."
"Hm, yeah?" She said, putting her hands in her pockets.
"It was my mom me and a little brother. Then mom left.." He shrugged.
"Aw, no way! Really?" She said, feeling really bad. She would've given him a hug, but she barely knew him.
Eli simply shrugged. Not willing to tell any more.
She glanced at him. "A little brother, huh?" She said softly, smiling.
She yawned, knowing they were close to the campsite.
"Here it is," she said, entering a clearing with thick trees above. It had one sleeping bag set out and a few other things were scattered around.
Eli nodded, looking around. Her campsite wasn't actually that far from his own.
She put her stuff down. "You can have the sleeping bag, unless you have your own?" She asked.
"Alright. You okay?" She asked, looking at him.
She smiled, yawning. "'M tired," she said.
