Job: Librarian
Apperance: Brown curly hair, with green eyes, has dimples, 5'5', clumsy but she sometimes walks with grace.
Religion: Firm believer, Chrisitan
Family Dead/ Alive: Mother and brother both alive and has not siblings.
Personality: She is very sweet and kind. She smiles and giggled a lot! She always sees the good in everyone. She is also very positive and outgoing.
Weaknesses: She has a hot temper and doesn't like to be stabbed in the back.
Other: She has a twitch and everyone picks on her. That's why she is a librarian. She likes to be away from people so she doesn't get picked on.

Job: She is a violinist in a large orchestra and composes her own music in her free time
Social Status: was rich, then wasn't, now she's getting rich again :))

Speech: her first language is German. She also speaks French and English. She has an accent when speaking English
Personality: Quiet, graceful, kind and caring. She gets easily attached to people. She's independent because she has to be, but wishes she didn't have to be. She's determined and does what she must in order to thrive. She was very sheltered as a child so has had quite the culture shock.
Impressions: People are intimidated by her at first, but are at ease once they get to know her a little
Religion: she's a Christian
Hobbies/favorite pastimes: plays violin. Loves all types of art, music, writing, etc.
Strengths: she's empathetic, sometimes to a fault.
Weaknesses: she was sheltered and naive
Family Living/Dead: both her parents died and she doesn't know of any other living family members. She was an only child.

Backstory: She was born in Austria. Her father was once a rich businessman. Her mother was from America, but spoke to Edelle only in German until she was 12 and started to learn French and English. She was doted upon, sheltered, and treated like a princess until her father lost his fortune when she was 17. Her father died when she was 19 and she and her mother moved to America to live with her grandfather. Her mother died when Edelle was 23. Her grandfather died a year later and left his business and property to her. He didn't have much, but enough to provide for her needs. Since then, the business has grown greatly under her management.
(To those who I usually rp with, sorry for being gone for so long! I hope to begin again soon, but I'm not sure when. I'll probably try starting again this weekend)

Character: Leo is a cowboy. He has a funny and mischevious look to him, but deep down he's really messed up. His sister Bailey at the age of 6, died from an accidental drowning in their local pond. Leo did everything he could to save her, but he couldn't do it. His heart shattered, he really loved Bailey. He was convinced that her death was his fault. He covered up his sadness with humor. He acted like he didn't have a care in the world, but when he was all alone, he cried. He eventually decided to become a cowboy and just ride away his problems. Leo's well known around town as the cowboy who lost his sister. He hopes someday he'll meet a fine young lady who can help mend his scarred heart.

The Victorian Era/victorian love, or whatever it's called:I have too many characters, I know xD but this idea popped into my head and I had to run with it.
Character Name: Merritt Mortimer

Personality: she's introverted, choosy about who she spends time with, very logical and perceptive. Cynical. Determined. Strange.
She is somewhat of an outcast and in her own mind she feels it's because she's too modern for the society at present and people are just too small minded to understand her.
She has a fascination with death, from a scientific viewpoint. She does various studies on death and records her findings in journals, which she locks away in a safe in her apartment. She locks them away with the notion that one day she'll make a discovery that will change the way people think of death, and she's afraid people will want to exploit them.
Impressions: at best, she's eccentric. At worst, she's a psychopath.
Religion: she feels that her studies of death with lead her to find an answer about the afterlife. (Spoiler: she will eventually become a Christian)
Hobbies/favorite pastimes: she reads a lot. Mostly anything about death, science, or both. Studying death IS her extracurricular activity. She also helps a detective with solving murders
Goals: to make a world changing discovery
Strengths: her smarts and determination
Weaknesses: when she has her mind set on a goal, she isolates herself until she achieves it. That, along with her odd behavior, leaves her lonely
Family Living/Dead: her older sister died when she was 7 of a sickness. Her mother was murdered when she was 17 and her father committed suicide a year later.
People Relations: she doesn't get out much. The only person she could consider a friend is a detective she helps solve murders. His name is Lucius Gideon. (I don't think they'll ever be involved romantically.)

Personality: She is very shy and doesn't like to talk to people she doesn't know. She has a kind heart but not a lot can see it because of how cold that think she is. She wants to be nice to everyone it's just that she isn't ready to come out of her confort zone.
Stance/ Walking Pace: Not very confident. A fast pace with little to no grace.
Social Standing: Upper Class
Religion: She believes in God but doesn't have a strong relationship with Him.
Family: Alicia Gatsby and Harold Gatsby. Has one over protective twin brother John Gatsby.
Weakness: She's not confident in herself so she doesn't try new things.
Strength: She loves to read to the children at the library. It's where she can be herself and not be scared of what other people think.
Anything Else: She hates to be the center of atention so she doesn't like to dress extravagant even though she is very rich.
