Ahtims (embeddedinbooks) | 2936 comments Yet to read it. But I think Sri is a connoisseur of Peter Wembley books.

Good Luck :)

Em Lost In Books (emlostinbooks) good luck!:)

Indrani Sen (iniya_books) I have read this. Don't remember much somehow. Happy reading!

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Hi you two! Happy reading! :)

Just a question - Is this a one time BR for this particular read OR are you going to fill this later with other BRs as well? If it is a general BR thread, I will move it to the other folder. If it is only for this crime book, let it be here! :D

Smitha - When have I read this series? Much less me a connoisseur of it? :O Are you mistaking me with someone else? Or is there another Sri here? :P

EDIT: Not sure if you meant the Peter Grant series though, of which I am a huge fan! :D

Is it? I saw this book in overdrive. And thought it looks interesting and started reading the book. And I pulled Vijay also..

This is the first time I am hearing about Peter Grant movies. It looks interesting.. i love such stories where the Ghost doesn't scare us. :)

Sri.. You can move the thread.. As this was the first time, we both were not sure where to create.

or we will finish the buddy read here. And will create a new topic for the new buddy read in the correct section.

I will do as you suggest.

message 14: by Srividya (new)

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Cool Manju! I will move the thread. No need to create another one! :)

message 15: by Srividya (new)

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Moved! It's now in the Buddy up and read folder. :)

message 16: by Manju (new)

Manju P | 13 comments Thanks Sri..

message 17: by Manju (new)

Manju P | 13 comments I have finished only 22% of the book. No single clue about the killer..

This week I might be able to make a good progress in the book..

message 18: by Manju (new)

Manju P | 13 comments I am at 86% of the book....

really not enjoying the book... bad narration.. unwanted details in between...

From somewhere suddenly some characters are sprouting out.

I wasted so much time in the audio book. And i couldn't understand whets happening. Then I had to stop and start reading the book.

But still the narration was pretty bad..

I am just continuing with the book just for the sake of buddy read and to know what happened to Levy.

i now really don't care who is the killer and why he committed the murder.

I really feel bad that I made Vijay also read this book..

Hopefully, I will finish it today.

message 19: by Srividya (new)

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Awww.. I came looking to see if the book was good! Too bad Manju! Let's hope your next read will be good! :)

message 20: by Manju (new)

Manju P | 13 comments Yeah.. I hope so..

I will read that book for sure..

message 25: by Manju (new)

Manju P | 13 comments Finally... i have finished the book.
Giving 1 star only.

There was nothing good in that book. I didnt even think that the author will kill levy. Atleast the reason for the murder could have been made better.

I used to skip so much conversations as i felt it as unwanted and boring. It waa big relief when i finished the book.

I feel like i have had something bitter and badly wants to have something sweet to remove the taste.. hopefully the next will compensate for this one.

message 26: by Vijay (new)

Vijay Dhamu | 5 comments Yes Manju....hope our next book will make up for this disaster.
