Elizabeth (Alaska) I think there is discussion somewhere on this, but I don't remember and forgive me for asking again (because a direct question is the best way for me to remember).

I think we maintain authors in their most common English form when possible.

Homer
Homero

I think in this case Homero could just be merged into Homer. But do we? Or do we edit the specific edition to have Homero as a secondary author? Do we keep the variant author as secondary only when it is non-Latin characters, such as Greek or Russian?

Yes.

No.

Because it is similar, you may have to use the temptemp (or preferred variant) work-around.

You post a request in the GR Librarians Group specifying the books (links to GR book pages preferred) that do not belong, as well as a link to your author profile, which will enable GR librarians to act on your request.
