Pallavi (bookfetisher) I want to finish the below list by end of this year.
Hopefully will do that, I don't mind if it drags a few more months :P

these books are in my tbr from a long time

Julie (julie_prewett) How are you doing on your list Pallavi? Got any checked off yet? :-) I overwhelmed myself by going to our local library book sale this past weekend and now I just look at all my "new" books and can't decide where to start reading!! LOL - Oh well, I will take this problem over so many others life throws at us!

Oh no, you hit a library book sale over the weekend? What did you grab?!

LOL - It was so fun that I went twice in the same day. Once in the early afternoon and then I went back a half hour before they were done. $4 for as much as I could put in the bag. I got creative! Can you look at my "shelves"? I put a new shelf on that shows my library sales books only.

Pallavi (bookfetisher) No progress Yet Julie :)
Planning to read J in september. I have it in my kindle.

While it didn't get the best ratings, it sounds very intriguing. I am a sucker for this type of romance. I look forward to your thoughts on "J" after you read it. :-)

Pallavi (bookfetisher) I am starting J by Howard Jacobson today

I have only read Shylock Is My Name by Howard Jacobson from this author. I found it quite interesting. Remember giving it a 3 stars.

Pallavi (bookfetisher) Finished J by Howard Jacobson
Here's my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I fear how the next books will be!

Julie (julie_prewett) I read your review a little bit ago. That is a bummer that it wasn't good. It looked interesting to me but I think I will pass now. At least you can mark it off your list! :-)

Pallavi (bookfetisher) There are people who like this kind of books Julie. So I don't whether you will like it or not but looking into your TBR's I guess you can leave it for now :)

It's just that story is so unclear and you just think "Does this mean this or that?" . Not a story with definite answers just a vague idea.

I do like books that have definite ending and definite pathways. I don't want to guess on too much of it. :-)
