hello! I'm looking for this anthology that I think I read in 1988. It was a collection of SCI Fi stories. One story took place on a world of artists. Humans in that time had found a way to extend their lives indefinitely, but the artists chose to live ordinary, mortal lives since they believed it improved the quality of their work. In the story, young children arrive on the world and are invited to train as artists... at the price of their immortality.
In another story, a reporter lands on a newly colonized human world to write the biography of a poet who recently passed away there. He discovers in one of her poems that the pre-existing species of the world were intelligent and were wiped out to make way for colonization. He is invited to stay on the world but instead releases two immortal rabbits into one of the crop beds.

Sound familiar anyone? :-)
