Hmmm.

Location, eh?

Then we should call ourselves 'This place has the crappiest service in Baku'.

Can't believe they've chosen it for a quiz venue.

From my brief visit there and cursory reading, I was always under the impression that the state religion of Azerbaijan is Worship of the Petrodollar.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments You'd be correct, David.

Lynda Wilcox (lyndawrites) | 1059 comments I once went to a quiz on the day prior to the local football team's Cup match against Manchester United.

One team called themselves Man United 0, Northampton Town.

So, at the end of the first round, when the Quiz Master called out the scores, we got a very satisfying Man United 0, Northampton Town 12.

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments A group of us formed a village team and called ourselves Deep Thought - after Douglas Adams' mega computer, which came up with the ultimate answer of 42. Yes, the quiz master DID say throat!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I'm considering putting a bottle of vodka and coke in my backpack to take along.

I just know the service is gonna be dismal.

Better bring a few pens, too.

I'll bring my fountain for luck, Sarah. :)

They're going to get thrown out anyway for cheating, intimidating the other teams, lap dancing on the tables, and stating a preference for milk over real ale! :)

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Vodka over real ale, surely!!
