Rachmi | 180 comments The Tolkien Society
http://www.tolkiensociety.org/

I think it's the most reliable (or should I call trusted?) Tolkien related website that I can find, so far.

LOTRProject by Emil Johansson
http://lotrproject.com/

It has genealogy and interactive maps that make me easier to understand Tolkien works.

The One Ring: Forged by and for fans of JRR Tolkien
http://www.theonering.net/

I rarely check the website but follow their Facebook. At the beginning it mostly about the movies but then they also provide anything related to Tolkien works. They even have this thing called Friday Cosplay, for cosplayer to show their works related to characters in Middle-Earth.

JRR Tolkien Encyclopedia (that anyone can edit)

The Tolkienist by Marcel Aubron-Bulles

Learning Elvish
1. http://www.elvish.org/

This is not a "friendly" website. I mean it isn't easy to read, for me at least. The color is kind of hurt my eyes. Hence, I never check it anymore, but I think if you want to learn (some) Elvish, you can check it out.

2. http://www.councilofelrond.com/conten...

3. There is also a book by David Salo, A Gateway to Sindarin A Grammar of an Elvish Language from JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings by David Salo . Salo is a linguist who is well-known for his works on Tolkien's language. His website is http://midgardsmal.com/

There are Elvish, Black Speech, Khuzdul and Orkish in his website.

Rachmi | 180 comments So a few months ago, when I struggled to read The Silmarillion, I stumbled into this tumblr account. The good thing about it is a person who has it provide the guidance of how to read The Silmarillion easier, based on his/her experience, of course.

He/She also makes and summarize things regarding Middle-earth (i.e racism, female characters, cross-raced relationship) and they are in pdf. So basically you can download them for free.

I might try his/her method when I read The Silmarillion for the second time, on June this year :)

Here's the link, in case you want to download his/her work, or even if you just want to read the Q&A about Middle-earth

The blog itself is also a great Tolkien resource:

Rachmi | 180 comments Thanks for the link, Heidi! I will definitely check it out later. I think I need times to read and absorb the whole article :D

Marji | 12 comments Hey, here are two websites which I found.

On this website you can find out everything about Tolkien's life and anything related to his works http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Main_Page
also if you have an account on it you can edit, add and create new pages and info.

On this site there are a few things on Tolkien, his books and the films plus some fun games. But I think the main thing is elvish. There is a name translator which shows you your elvish name and some elvish phrases both in Sindarin and Quenya. Also there are some links to different websites related to Tolkien.

natalie (gildest) If you're interested in learning Quenya Elvish, this website has some helpful information:

https://quenya101.com/

There's also a Wikia site about Lord of the Rings. Anyone can edit it, so I'm not sure if this is a completely reliable resource, but here it is:

https://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

Those are the only ones I can think of to add so far :)
