I figured if I want to help encourage people to talk in the group, why not have a place where you can introduce yourself, start talking to other people in the group.
Feel free to talk about anything here.

Just realized I should probably give at least a format for introduction for anyone who feels like introducing themself. So I'll go first.

Hello, I'm Jocelyn. I took over running Booktube Classics Club from Scott, who originally started it. I've been on Booktube almost a year now and my channel is The Owl's Perch.

Beth | 15 comments Hello everyone! I'm Beth. When I was younger I was an avid reader, but I stopped for a while when I was in college (reading for fun, that is). In college I was a science major, so I was always too stressed out and busy to make the time. Now that I have graduated, I have slowly but surely been getting back into it :)

Maggie Yagami | 2 comments Hi everyone, I'm Miki and I am a self professed fantasy/steampunk lover who flauns over classics they impose on you in lit class. While I admire and enjoy classics, I honestly need a little (okay a big push) to read old timey works. I am, however stoked with the idea of monthly read alongs and finally having a place to talk with great people about great books and the feeeeeeels

Tiffany DeOs (thejumpingsheep) Hi friends! I'm Tiffany from the booktube channel The Crafty Home and I figured since I'll going to be doing the announcement videos and helping out on the group perhaps it was time to introduce myself. :) I'm a SAHM of four children and we homeschool so that keeps me busy. Other than that I read...a lot. I love to read nearly everything and do reviews for several Christian book publishers. I really want to read more classics which is why I joined this group. Make sure to subscribe to my channel to get all the latest announcements: http://www.youtube.com/thecraftyhome also check out my blog: http://www.thecraftyhome.net

Alyssa (elfthryth_) | 2 comments Hey y'all! I'm Alyssa-Faith, 22 on Thursday, single, and I run my book blog, "A Vintage Girl in the Modern World" : http://www.avintagegirlinthemodernwor.... I'm a huge fan of classics, Fantasy, historical, and contemporary. I'm also a writer, who is currently sitting on a story idea and expanding it little by little. I would love to in the future work in publishing industry behind the scenes while also writing. Which unfortunately takes schooling and money, so I'm praying and believing God opens that door.

Mari (mynameismarines) | 1 comments Hello everyone! I just joined this wonderful club and figured that I would introduce myself.

I'm Marines and I'm a 28 year old south Floridian who works in HR by day and just blogs/vlogs/Tweets her heart out by night. I was always the weird girl in High School who was reading the classics for fun and had already read them when they became required reading. I still re-read a bunch of classics a year, but since then, I haven't really done too much to read new ones, so I figured this would be a good way to encourage that.

I've been blogging for five years now (Snark Squad)and have been on BookTube for a few months (My Name is Marines)

Also, please let me know if there is every anything I can do to help around here! I always like to pitch in where I can, including with any videos or such.

Can't wait to chat more with you all!
