Hi everyone!

My name's Kellie Doherty. I'm a bisexual writer living in Portland, OR. I've recently finished my master's degree in book publishing, and I'm looking for a full-time job (which is really a full-time job in itself). As a reader, I like reading science fiction and fantasy (I loved the Calaeno series by Jane Fletcher), and I write in the same genre as well.

Anyway, it's great that there's a place for queer readers on here and I'm happy to get to know you all!

I visit Oregon often because my best friend from college days moved to Medford - you have an amazing bookstore up there in Portland, Powell's Books. It's a beautiful town too.

Thanks, Greg! Yes, Powell's is amaaaazing, and we have so many different locations for the Powell's too, not just the one on Broadway. I like the Powell's on Hawthorn in particular because it has that hometown bookstore feel. :)

Thanks Kellie! I've only been to the main one because I love the huge used book selection, but next time I come up, I'll have to check out the Hawthorn one too!
