Invent your own Wave

If you had to wipe out an entire species with a single wave (or at least, a large percentage of a species) what would YOUR wave consist of? How would it work?

P.S: I do advise you never put your waves in motion. That may or may not be fatal for a lot of members of the species you are targeting.

This is a really difficult (but fun) question. All the 5 waves are unique and quiet diverse.
Soo, if I have to create a wave- Lava burning from under the ground, earth tearing up and everything falling into the burning pits...

I think if I had to make my own wave it would have to do something with the bugs and insects. Maybe a swarm or whatever, simply attacking humans. That would sort of be my worst nightmare, so I think it's fitting >.>
