Unwind
question
Part 1

I’m really enjoying this book so far because it is full of twists and action. When reading “1. Conner” my thought was that his parents chose to unwind him because of his poor choices but soon realize that that’s not the catch. As you read we meet, Risa, who is a good student and a great musician but that isn’t enough for her to be safe from being unwound. Two people that want to live, stay the way that they are and not transformed to new people. Then there is Lev, who was taught to be unwound would be a great sacrifice, a tithe, because he has been the most fruitful from the family. So two of them wanted to live and one was willing and honored to be going through such procedure. I want to know the real purpose of the whole “unwinding” already but not knowing sure is keeping me wanting to read more! My predictions are that Lev, will not want to be given as a good offering by the end of the book, that of course Conner and Risa fall in love, and that this book may become a series.
Questions: Are they all robots and humans are behind it all?? What actions do you think your child would have to do to unwind them?
These people have to be heartless to do this to their child. I want to know if Conner’s girlfriend will come back into the book at some point.
