jamie’s thoughts on: sunglasses

Everybody needs a good pair to complement any outfit. personally, my favorites are aviator glasses with a nice gold frame. i dislike the recent trend of flashy reflective sunglasses lately, and instead prefer a more subtle alternative.

My sunglasses are Betsey Johnson, and consist of a classic-looking front (framed in black) with a subtle pink floral print along the sides. i have a second pair that I keep in my car, consisting of bigger frames with black edges and sides, with a bit of silver hardware to the left side. these were purchased at justice almost 4 years ago, and have proved to be of lasting quality

jamie’s thoughts on: cognac leather

if it weren’t obvious already, my favorite shade of brown is cognac. i wanted to talk about it because two of my favorite items, my ankle boots and transport tote, came in that color. both are of a vegan leather material, and i feel as if the color only grows richer over time. my items have become more and more of a deeper, more handsome brown color. i’m looking into a white-faced watch with a cognac leather band, and for the sole reason of the quality of the color am leaning towards getting it.

i highly recommend anything in that color, as long as the leather is of good quality and of a trusted brand. real leather isn’t vegan, so i prefer not to buy it, but make sure the leather you’re buying isn’t too cheap in regards to quality to avoid it falling apart on you.
