The Chasm

Located on the right side of the Pit, this area reminds Dauntless of how there is a fine line between bravery and idiocy. The floor of the Chasm drops off at a very steep angle. It has very little lighting and an slippery, cold iron railing that surrounds it. The river is located several hundred feet below. The water is fast-moving and black. The rocks surrounding it are jagged.

Renesmee walked looked over the chasm railing, sprayed by cold water. She played with her necklace on her jacket and said to herself, "Why couldn't they be here?"
