Fallen and Cassie #2

[Fallen]

"I've run away twice. Not once. You weren't bee the first time.." Eli informed her softly. "He just doesn't trust me on my own. Which I get, I guess..." He shrugged. "But still. I did something nice for once. I killed something to save them...."

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

Liz hadn't know about the first time, then. Seeing as she hadn't been here yet. Like he'd just pointed out. Glancing over again at the new girl. She hadn't caught a name yet and wasn't willing to ask for it either. Then turning back. "I'm sure he gets that.... even if he doesn't want to say it. He just worries about you, about everyone.. " She said. She didn't like many people, mostly because she didn't get along with many people. But Eli and her had become close right away once they learned who his father was. And they both had well--- not the most popular of dads. Sense his was the God of Death and hers' was Hades. Lord of the Underworld, blah blah blah.

[Fallen]

"Yeah. Whatever." Eli shrugged. Sighing softly. He bit his lip and looked around again. "It's not like I'm gonna run again. Not anytime soon at least." He commented, thinking out loud. He ran his fingers over the scar along his jaw and cheek.

Liz let out a sigh, as she fiddled with a scar that mirrored her arm. Shoulder to wrist. She had gotten it in a fight, on her way here. She had been attacked from behind. When she had gone to spin to face it, it had snapped at her with a whip with sharp things that felt like teeth. It had momentarily broken into her skin. And she had gained the scar. It had been fast. But it had still left it's mark on her. Glancing over at Eli when he said that he wasn't planning on running again... or at least anytime soon. She would run if she could. But she had learned her lesson the first time. And she was in no hurry to repeat that.

[Fallen]

Eli sighed softly and shook his head. "Well, I guess I'm gonna head back to my cabin and nap for a bit so I can maybe train some tonight...." He said quietly, standing up.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

"Alright, I'm going to be heading back soon too." She told him as he stood. Thinking maybe she'd go try and talk to the new girl. Or else she'd wait until tomorrow seeing as she seemed like she was really into the conversation that she was having with Lisa and Ashley.

[Fallen]

Eli nodded. He waved slightly and headed back to his cabin, glancing back once toward Alyssa. Thinking. He sighed softly, walking into his quiet cabin.

((yeah.Umm maybe we can have Eli and Alyssa run into each other again? But Liz is with him or something?))

(Sure. That sounds good. Could you please start?)

Liz ran up when she saw Eli, seeing as she had been looking for him all morning. She knew that he wasn't a big morning person but he was still always up on time, if not a little late some mornings. "Hey-- So. Guess what?"

[Fallen]

Eli looked at her, looking somewhat tired with dark circles under his eyes despite having slept. "Hey. What's up?" He asked, biting his lip lightly. He shifted on his feet, trying to wake himself up more.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

"Huh, you look like you woke up half dead yourself this morning. Didn't sleep well?" she asked, seeing the dark circles under his eyes. Knowing he wouldn't take ofince to it sense they were so close. "Come on, lets get some coffee in you and I'll tell you." She said leading him to where the coffee was set up. "So anyways... I guess some of the people in different cabins are taking bets on whose going to claim the new girl. Sense I guess she had sword practice this morning and she swears it's the first time she's ever picked one up but it's like she knew how to handle it without any one really teaching her or anything."

[Fallen]

"I rarely sleep well, and my iPod died in the middle of the night so drowning out noise didn't work." He mumbled. Eli usually had like a constant buzzing in his ears, an effect of him being able to sense like any death. At night, he'd put earbuds in and blast music because it usually helped. Eli got himself a cup of coffee. "She doesn't seem like an ares kid but probably some other warrior one like Athena or something..." He commented.

"You could of come and gotten mine... I wouldn't of minded." She said feeling slightly sorry for him. Sense he rarely slept well she knew that, but last night must of been one of the worst nights sense he's IPod had died. Waiting for him to get a cup then poured herself a cup adding sugar and cream to it. "Maybe, all the Ares kids though are hoping that he claims her. Although she doesn't seem the type, from what I've seen of her so far."

[Fallen]

"It was almost 3 am. I wasn't gonna wake you. It's charging now though so I'll be fine." Eli replied simply with a shrug. "I'll take a nap this afternoon maybe." He drank some of his coffee, not adding any cream or sugar. "She's not an ares kid, I l would've seen it when she was fighting...." Eli muttered.

Liz nodded. At least he was willing to take a nap if he became too tired. "Oh yeah, you would of been able to tell that right away.. although then again you can't really tell the Areas kids anything they don't want to believe until it happens.. " She said shrugging. They were just stubborn that way. Even if they were really good fighters.


Alyssa had gone to her first training. Which happened to be swords play. It had been shocking, but as soon as she'd picked it up she'd known what to do with it. How to hold it, how to swing it... and the person that had been leading it-- One of the other cabin leaders that hadn't been Jack was holding it-- had only had to show her how to do like three or four things. That was it. Everyone had stormed her after training was over, to ask questions. Had she ever done swords practice before, How did she know how to hold it and fight like that. Every question they could come up with she didn't have an answer for. Which just lead to more questions of her own. Glad to have a few minutes of quiet and to herself. After she had gotten away she had gone to the commons tent. Which also served as breakfast, lunch and the dinner hall. And had taken her notebook with her. So she could write. And think.

[Fallen]

"Yeah.." Eli sighed and nodded. "She'll get claimed soon and then everyone'll chill out. It's not like she's the first newbie here or anything." He said with a shrug, running a hand through his hair. Eli looked around them.

Liz nodded. It always got like this, when someone knew came here and they finally got what classes and training they'd be in. And they found out what they were good at. "Yeah, I hope so.. it's bad enough their taking bets already. And I actually heard I think it was Chase and Tristan going at it.. on rather who was right." She told him. Chase was from Athena's cabin and Tristan was an Areas. Both boys. So you could imagine how that looked to everyone that had heard them fighting over who was going to claim her.


Alyssa looked up when she heard voice, that were talking about --- bets?? Where they really taking bets on who her parent was? And all because she'd done extremely well in swords play this morning? Looking up as they got closer, realizing one of the voices as Eli but the other one she didn't recognize.

[Fallen]

"Chase and Tristan are always like that. Butting heads and just being pains." Eli muttered. "I may go talk to them though, get the bets called off." Eli may not talk to many people much but he was pretty good at intimidating pretty much anyone at camp. Being the son of death had a few advantages he guessed.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

"True... just try not to be... to intimidating if you do." She said looking around them, then stopped herself from what she was going to say about the bets. When she saw Alyssa sitting over at one of the tables alone. Swallowing almost feeling guilty about talking about her without even knowing she sat there most likely listening.

[Fallen]

Eli sighed. "Why not? They shouldn't be placing bets on who belongs to who. Tristan and Chase are the ones who really started it. Before they got here, nobody really talked much about who belonged where. Nobody cared." He muttered, clearly annoyed with the two boys. Eli drank more of his coffee

"I suppose. I just don't you to get in trouble, that's all." She said glancing back to Alyssa. "Maybe we should go say hi, she has to be feeling-- well confused. And slightly hurt maybe."

[Fallen]

"Alright." Eli shrugged, sighing softly. He got a refill of his coffee. "Okay. Lead the way." He said, drinking some of the coffee.

Liz waited until he got his refill and then lead the way over to Alyssa's table. Sitting down across from her. "Hi, I'm Liz, a friend of Eli's."



Alyssa looked up when she saw two shadows come over her table. And then they sat across from her. Seeing Eli and a girl. Wondering who had brought up coming over. She kind of doubted it was Eli, but it was still possible. " Um, hi. I'm Alyssa."

[Fallen]

Eli was quiet, sitting beside Liz with his hands wrapped around his cup of coffee. "Hi Alyssa." He said softly, offering her a faint smile.

Alyssa gave a soft smile of her own. "Hi, Eli.." She said, then turned back to Liz sensing that she was the more chatter of the two. "I saw you during practice, thanks for not rushing me with the others." She said


Liz smiled, "Oh, don't worry about it. I know how it is with everyone. Wanting to know where you come from, how your so good at something that you can't explain.. all that."

[Fallen]

Eli sipped at his coffee, still not completely awake. "Everyone'll settle down once you've been claimed." He assured softly after Liz spoke.

Alyssa nodded. "I sure hope so, it was madness this morning after practice. And it hasn't stopped sense.. are they really taking bets? I heard a little of what you guys were saying about people putting down bets, I didn't mean to eavesdrop though."


Liz nodded, "Eli's right. It'll get better, once you get claimed. People stop hounding you so much and everything. Yeah--- I'm afraid so, although it's most between the Aries and Anthea cabins that their doing it. Even though Eli can pretty much already say your not one of the Aries. "

[Fallen]

Eli nodded slightly. "I'll get the bets called off in a bit. Once I'm more awake." He said with a shrug, biting his lip lightly. He looked around them, thinking.

Alyssa looked at Eli again and noticed that Liz did the same. Seeing that he had dark marks under his eyes as if he hadn't slept at all last night. "Thank you." She told him grateful that he was willing to try and get the bets called off for her.


"So anyways, how are you liking camp so far?" Liz asked thinking they should get on a lighter subject. Then all of the betting taking place and all.

[Fallen]

Eli nodded, biting his lip. He tugged the sleeves of his hoodie down over his hands, setting his coffee cup on the table. He listened as Liz and Alyssa kept talking, but it faded to more of background noise to him

((Oh! Maybe something happens and then they have to pick people to go on a quest? Like it's been a few months sense Alyssa's arrival that way she has some training.))

((Oh, how about the quest was specifically meant for Alyssa but they have to figure out who goes with her?)

Eli sighed as he walked to the training grounds early in the morning. Apparently there was a new quest handed down from the oracle which was giving people a lot of hype, even though they had no clue who the quest was for. He unsheathed his sword, looking around the pretty much empty area.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

Alyssa had gotten to the field early. Seeing as they had gotten word from the oracle about a quest. Although the oracle kind of freaked her out... She'd gone up there once with Jack so that she could meet her. Neatness to say it wasn't her favorite thing to think about. So she had come here to practice before everyone showed up and they made the announcement on who the quest was meant for. Swinging her sword and striking the dummy again.

[Fallen]

Eli saw her and paused. Watching. He studied her technique and stuff, just curious as to her fighting style. He bit his lip and looked away after a moment, moving to a more open area.

After a couple more swings, she pretended like a lot of people where coming after her. Spinning around in a swift circle and fought invisible people with each swing. Not even noticing Eli had come into the field as well.

[Fallen]

Eli had been standing a bit too close when she swung in a wide circle. He quickly darted back, barely missing getting cut by her blade. Eli then proceeded to move back a few more feet. Unsure of her next move.

Alyssa brought the sword that she was using down quickly when she saw a shirt. Fallowed by someone jumping back. Spinning around again, after it was lowered to see who it was. Starting to apologize even before she was all the way around. "I'm so sorry, I didn't think anyone else, was out here practicing.."

[Fallen]

"It's alright Alyssa. After all, it's my fault for standing too close." Eli replied, looking at her. He bit his bottom lip lightly.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

"Okay, I didn't even noticed you had come up.. if I had I would of watched more carefully." She told him then glanced down seeing that he had taken his sword out as well to practice himself. Then glanced back up. Asking. "If you want we could practice together before everyone gets here for the announcement."

[Fallen]

"We can if you'd like. I'm not the best partner though." He replied with a shrug, shifting how he held his sword and watching her. Eli bit his lip lightly.

Alyssa shrugged. "Then I suppose we'll make the best of it. Ready?" She asked seeing as she didn't want to sneak attack him. And he miss blocking that wouldn't be good.

"Yeah. I'm ready." He nodded. Eli prepared for her to strike first.
