Fallen and Cassie #2

[Fallen]

"You're just trying to help. I know. But healing me just makes me feel horrible or it doesn't work." Eli replied. He watched her carefully, biting his lip. He looked around.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

Guess that answered that. She thought, as she bit her lip. Maybe it was because of whose son he was. That would explain why it made him feel horrible or it just didn't work. Not knowing what to say now.

[Fallen]

"I'll heal with time, just like any normal person." Eli assured with a shrug. He feel silent then, just watching around them. He figured that she'd speak if she had any questions or something.

Alyssa nodded not sure what else to say to any of this. This-- all of it. Was proving a lot to take in at one time. She thought as she looked around, trying to find a new subject in their surroundings. Clearing her throat after a moment. "So, um... this must been the training field?"

[Fallen]

Eli nodded. "Yeah. Here is where most combat training is." He pointed to all the mannequin like dummies at one end of the field that were had for practice when people worked alone.

Alyssa took it all in. Looking around at the people in teams and people practicing alone as well further away. It looked so-- old fashioned. Like something you'd see when you went to the Renascence festive. Nothing like you would expect to see in real life. Seeing two people one boy and one girl. They must of been here for a few years because they matched each others' moves, move for move. Watching as they fought.

[Fallen]

Eli watched Alyssa for a moment. Wondering if she'd end up being a good fighter. Most ended p here a lot younger than she was which probably just meant she was one of the luckier ones that the monsters weren't hunting for.

After a moment of consideration she asked. "Who are they? The guy and girl over there.." Pointing them out to him. So that he'd know which ones he was talking about seeing as there were a lot of boys and girls versing each other. The boy was maybe 5' 9" where as the girl was slightly shorter then him but from here they looked about the same height. So that would probably put her about 5'7" or so.

[Fallen]

Eli looked over, seeing who she was talking about. "Tyler's the girl, Jays the guy, twin kids of Hephaestus." He answered. He could pretty much name anyone at camp, even if he never talked to them.

Alyssa remembered learning about him, he wasn't much on the popular side but she had still liked learning about him. "There really good... either of them lead any of the training?" One or both of them could seeing as they were so good. She didn't know how she knew that they were good seeing as she had never practiced swords play before but she did.

[Fallen]

Eli sighed. "Did Chiron tell you nothing? Cabin heads are the main teachers for their cabins. Those two are the cabin heads." He muttered, slightly annoyed. He glanced over at her.

"He didn't tell me who the head of the cabins are. Just about the cabin systems. And why their in the U shape. Not much more about the cabins other then that." She said glancing over at him.

[Fallen]

Eli rolled his eyes, thinking he should've let Jack show her around rather than him. At least Jack was a bit more patient with newbies unlike Eli. "I've been here a while. All this is common knowledge to me. Sorry."

Jack was on his way back from the meeting with Chiron and the others that had attended. And had made a loop by the Training Field to check on how everything was going. Seeing that Eli and Alyssa had made it here. Walking over to them. "Hey, how's the tour going??" he asked, realizing as he got closer things had gone weird between them.


Alyssa was glad when Jack started over. She hadn't even realized that he was here until he was almost over to them and asking how the rest of the tour was going. Giving a smile. "It's going... good. How'd the meeting go?"

[Fallen]

Eli sighed softly. "Jack. I think I'll let you finish showing her around. I'm not very good with all of it." He stated simply, stepping back. He waited a moment before turning to walk away.

Alyssa went to say something but he was gone before she could even form words to say anything. Turning to Jack. "Um.. I think part of that was my fault." She said feeling the need to explain. If only a little.

((Would you mind playing Jack for a while?))

[Fallen]

(No. I don't mind.)

Jack shook his head. "Not your fault. He's. Antisocial, I guess? I dunno what's the best word for it." He said with a shrug, glancing to where Eli went before back to Alyssa.

((Thank you. I never really like talking to myself in these things. if it's going to be a couple pages or what not, seeing as that just gets weird after a while. Ya know?))



Alyssa thought on it, "Maybe,--- I guess. Although I don't think my trying to heal his wound helped any either.." She confessed. Looking back at Jack.

[Fallen]

(Yeah. It's a bit difficult to be having conversations with yourself...)

Jack nodded. "Wait. He let you touch him? That's weird for him..." Jack said with a shrug, watching her. "But whatever. I can show you around. You probably won't see much more of him..."

((yeah.. drives me crazy.))

"For a moment, but that's about all... " She explained recalling it in her head. The shrugging when he told her that it was weird for Eli to let someone touch him. "Yeah, that would be nice... considering we just got here a few minutes ago and I've just seen the cabins and the training area."

[Fallen]

"Alright." Jack nodded. He led her around the camp, pointing stuff out and explaining it all to her. He was thorough and made sure to tell her all the important stuff.

Alyssa nodded and paid close attation to what he said and memorized what the important things were and where they were located. Asking questions every once in a while.

[Fallen]

Jack answered all the questions she asked. Clearly not minding just walking camp with her. He'd shown lots of new campers around before so it was easy for him.

Alyssa found herself relaxing as they walked. Which she hadn't done in the last two and a half days. Looking around every now and then as they passed people. Starting to talk about just normal things as they walked to the last place on the list. "Can I ask you something?" She asked, even though she had been asking things about camp when she had a question for the past 35 or so minutes. So clearly she could, but this wasn't about camp so she felt the need to ask before she just asked it.

[Fallen]

Jack glanced over at her. "Yeah. Go ahead and ask." He said with a shrug. Not sure why she was asking permission first. He waited, looking around.

It was just habit. She always asked permission before asking a more personal question. Although she didn't really think that this would be personal but still bothered anyways. "How long have you been at camp?" But it also helped that Jack was one of those people you knew you could just talk about anything with and ask anything.

[Fallen]

"Four summers." He shrugged. "I head home for the school year usually.." Jack stated simply. He didn't mind talking about how long he'd been there.

That wasn't that bad.. she would of thought longer. Seeing as Eli had said that he'd been here 11 years. That seemed long to her although she didn't know what the normal age was that they first showed up. "That's not that bad.... I'm not sure if I'll be going back when school starts back up."

[Fallen]

"Most of us do go to school during the year an then train here in the summer. A few stay here all year though for various reasons. So it all depends on your situation." Jack explained, shrugging.

"That makes sense. I'm just disappointed at how I had to leave I guess... I mean I'm not trying to complain or anything. Because the camp seems really cool and I think I'm going to like it here once I learn my way around and meet some more people. But I wish I could of at least said goodbye if nothing else." She told him, thinking she was opening up with him faster then she had with almost anyone before.

[Fallen]

Jack nodded. "You're not alone. Lots of people have had to leave home without saying goodbye because they were being hunted. You'll be able to contact them soon." He assured calmly.

Alyssa nodded, glad that she would be able to contact her dad soon. He would be worried sick right now.. still. He had probably called in the cops and started a search party for her. Not that they'd ever find her though. Catching that he'd said 'them'. He must have a big family. Not counting the one here at camp. But she hadn't had any other choose. "Thanks. So, you any good at swords play?"

[Fallen]

"Not really. More of an archer instead." Jack answered with a shrug. He glanced over to her. "Your cabin will probably teach you a bit of all of them and you'll figure out what works best with your fighting style.."

Alyssa had thought he might be, but guess not. "Yeah, Chiron said something about putting me in some of the training excesses until I get claimed that way I'll have an idea of what to expect when I do finally get claimed and all." She told him as they walked, starting to wonder what the last place that he had to show her was. Seeing as he had made it sound like a big deal.

[Fallen]

Jack nodded. "Yeah. Plus, that's why you're supposed to be here anyway, to train and learn how to fight." He replied. Jack looked over at her. "Any idea as to who your godly parent is?" He asked her curiously, tilting his head.

Alyssa shook her head. "No, not really. But it has to be one of the goddess, seeing as I live with my dad. Never meet my mom.... didn't even really believe in all this stuff up until a coupe months ago. And even then I thought I was going crazy." She explained glancing over at him a giving him a half hearted smile.

[Fallen]

"Most of us never meet our godly parent or maybe meet them once... But at least knowing she's a goddess helps narrow down who it could be slightly." Jack shrugged. Looking around.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

"Is there any that, heal? Like heal wounds with a touch or something like that.. that might help narrow it down. Too busy, ruling?" She asked as she glanced around seeing things starting to wind down a little bit. Seeing as the day must be over for training. Sense it was-- around 3? 4? Maybe?

[Fallen]

"Abilities vary for each kid of a god.. So I have no clue. I don't know any healing goddesses.." Jack replied. He glanced at his watch. "Well, come on. We should probably get back to the cabin before eveyone else gets there.."

Yeah she had realized that it was getting late, and dinner would probably start soon. Seeing as she hadn't heard anyone calling it was dinner and Jack hadn't said anything about it either. At least she had asked. It wasn't his fault he didn't know. "Okay.. yeah sounds good." She said wondering now if she was the only one not Hermes that was staying in the cabin or if there were more then just her. Maybe she'd be able to connect with them if they were. But then again, she'd make friends either way.

[Fallen]

Jack led her back toward the cabin, looking around them. He sighed quietly, tired from training and working all day and then showing her around everywhere. He tilted his neck to each side, cracking it.

Alyssa sighed as the cabin came into view at the end of the lake. Which meant they were almost back and it would be dinner soon. But before that, she had to be introduced to the rest of the people in the cabin. Looking over as she heard chatter. Maybe other campers were already heading to dinner. Hearing Jacks sigh as he cracked his neck. She couldn't shake the feeling of nerves though as they drew closer and then they were on the porch of the cabin.

[Fallen]

Jack glanced at her. "They like everyone pretty much. It'll be fine.." He assured before leading her inside. There was only 5 or 6 others in the cabin currently. Jack introduced her to them and them to her.

Alyssa felt herself relaxing as she meet everyone. Glad that there was only five or six of them. Seeing as she had been worried that there would be a whole cabin full all day. Saying hi and starting to talk to them as they filled out and headed for the dinning area.

[Fallen]

Jack walked with the cabin toward the dining pavilion, leading the way and talking to someone else in the cabin. He sat down at their assigned table.

Eli was already at the pavilion, sitting at the table with the one Hades kid that was also at CHB and talking quietly to them.

Alyssa looked around, once they were sat at their own table. Taking everything and everyone in. There were little what looked like Christmas lights strung up the tables hung to the wooden beams around them And there was so many people.. she had known there was a lot, but not--- this many. Seeing as she had seen a lot of people pass them as both Eli and Jack had shown her around. But they had been in the background. Sense she had been more worried about remembering what place was for what and where it was. Turning now and looking around for Eli. Wondering if he was still-- Mad? she guessed was the best word. At her. Finding him and one other kid at a table on the far side.

[Fallen]

Eli wasn't mad at her. He just had never been good with people so trying to be social and showing someone around, it didn't work well. Eli looked around the tables, thinking. He glanced toward the table Alyssa was at and watched for a moment, happy to see that she seemed to be fitting in okay with them. He turned back to the daughter of Hades he was talking to.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

After a moment Alyssa turned back to the two other girls she had been talking to before, answering questions. And commenting on things as they talked.


Liz had seen Eli looking around. Maybe looking for the new girl he had briefly shown around before Jack. Head of the Hermes Cabin had taken it over. Seeing that everyone from the Hermes cabin had shown up now. Then turned back to Eli. "So, how is she? The new girl.." She asked seeing as she hadn't bothered asking before. And he hadn't offered anything on the subject either.

[Fallen]

Eli shrugged. "Fine, I guess. Just another camper here for the summer..." He replied quietly, glancing to Liz. He bit his lip lightly, yawning. "Chiron's not happy that I even went out there to help her, he keeps thinking I'm gonna run away again..."

Liz shook her head, when he said that Chiron wasn't even happy that he had left to help her. At least she sounded okay. Seeing as she knew a few campers that were horrible to some of the others. Herself and Eli included. She had even threatened to put a spell on them if they didn't leave them alone. Once or twice. Which had lead to her getting in trouble when they reported her to Chiron. "Yeah, but if you hadn't she would of probably died... seeing as I saw the tracks it left, when I was out there. Honestly, what is he thinking? So you ran away once, once! And we both know how that went.. " she said recalling what he had told her about some of the encounters that he'd had while he had been on the run. And then how mad Chiron had been once they had found him and brought him back.
