Fallen and Cassie #2

[Fallen]

"Alright. Would you like me to just take you to your Cabin so you can get settled in or show you around first..?" Eli asked her once they walked off the porch of the big house. He glanced over at her, still messing with his beads.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

"You could show me around first... I didn't bring much. So it would only take me about two minutes to unpack anyways" She told him, as she saw him messing with a beaded necklace around his neck. The only real thing that wasn't stolen was her dagger and the clothes on her back. Everything else- including the backpack that she had was stolen or she had picked up at cheep stores while she'd been on the run.

[Fallen]

Eli nodded. "Okay. Well, you've seen the big house. Let's see, training areas, cabins, rock wall.." He listed softly to himself, thinking. "Alright. Cabins first so I can leave my sword there I guess." He shrugged, glancing at the still bloody sword sheathed at his side. Eli led her toward the cabins.

Alyssa nodded at everything he listed off. Remembering Chiron saying some things about all of them. Walking with him as they headed for the cabins. "So, what cabin are you in?" She asked needing something to talk about even if it was just something little and wouldn't last long.

[Fallen]

"Thirteen and a half." Eli shrugged. He always called Thanatos cabin thirteen and a half since Hades was cabin 13 and Thanatos cabin was almost right behind it and Thanatos was Hades second in command. He glanced at her before at all the cabins.

"Oh, so... whose cabin is that? I mean Chiron explained about the numbers and cabins but he didn't say what number cabin was for which god." She said thinking back on it. As they walked to the cabins so that he could put his sword away.

[Fallen]

"Thanatos. I'll point out which cabin is which in a minute." Eli answered. Walking past Hades cabin toward his cabin. He was the only one in it. The cabin was simple, painted black with large double doors. He pushed open one of the doors.

Alyssa waited outside for him to return. Seeing as he hadn't invited her to go with him. Turning and looking at all the cabins lined up. There was no doubting that it was in a big U shape. Stopping in front of one and admiring it. It wasn't quit like the others seeing as it had a different set to it as far as the pillars went. Although each cabin had something different on the doors or lining the windows or somewhere else on it. To indicate which was which. But this one had an owl on each of the doors that lead into it. With some lines and other patterns lining the outside walls and windows.

[Fallen]

Eli quickly went inside. He put his sword away in his room so he could clean it later before grabbing a dark blue zip up hoodie and heading back outside. He walked over to join her, pulling the hoodie on and looking around. Some campers were out and about, others were still in training or wherever..

Alyssa looked behind her when she heard footsteps behind her. Then saw Eli stop beside her as he slipped a hoodie on. Turning back to the cabin after a moment, "It's so pretty.. I mean all of them are."

[Fallen]

Eli nodded. "Yeah. That one with the owls is Athena.." He explained. Looking over at her before at the cabin again. Eli pointed a few more out to her, explaining which godly parent belonged to which cabin.

Alyssa nodded as he listed them off. And which cabin belonged to which god- or goddess. The other one she realized that really stuck out to her was one with a sun on the door as it rose in the sky. The others were okay but she found those the two most beautiful. "There all so amazing, in there own right.. " She said looking at them all again.

[Fallen]

"Yeah. They're designed to kind of honor each god and what they are the god of." Eli said with a shrug. He looked at all the cabins, none stood out to him anymore, they were all too familiar. "Hopefully you'll be claimed soon so you'll know which cabin is actually yours.." He said softly.

"That's cool that they kind of honor which god or goddess they stand for.... Yeah." She said thinking on it all. She'd never meet her mom, didn't even know who she was. Even though her dad had told her a little bit about her mother from time to time. But it wasn't anything that would lead to her knowing who she was. It was always how happy they were together, how they meet.

[Fallen]

"Well, it only makes sense.. To honor your parent." Eli replied. "If not, we get lots of angry gods on our hands, which sucks." He shrugged, looking over to her. He'd met his father a few times but not many, but Thanatos was all he had..

Alyssa nodded, That made sense. "And I don't think anyone would like that very much... Seeing as there so powerful and all," She said trying to recall things from her Mythology class. She had taken one last year and she had loved it. Even though it wasn't really her thing. Although she guessed it better start being her thing now.

[Fallen]

Eli nodded. "Yeah, it's better not to upset the gods too much. Especially the ones that really care about their kids." He said with a shrug. Nobody really noticed or came over to talk to them, busy with their own stuff and talking to their friends.

"I'll remember that.. who ever she ends up being I'd hate to get her mad." She said seeing others coming and going from cabins. But not stopping to talk to them or anything.

[Fallen]

Eli sighed softly. "I should probably show you to Hermes cabin so you can meet who's in charge there before dinner and stuff." He said quietly, looking around. He knew all the people who were heads of the cabins but he didn't really talk much to anyone, preferring to be on his own instead.

Alyssa caught the sigh, maybe he was getting tired or he wasn't one for talking to people this long. She wondered although she didn't want to seem rude by asking either. "Okay, " She said looking around for which cabin could be Hermes. She didn't remember his sign from class. Even though she had payed close attention to all of the signs.

[Fallen]

Eli led her over to the right cabin, biting his lip lightly. He tapped on the door before pushing it open, calling out for the cabin leader. He didn't mind showing Alyssa around or anything, he just wasn't the best with interacting or working with people.

Alyssa fallowed him in once he headed in. Looking around. She had thought them to be small,- or at least midden sized from the outside but they were actually somewhat large. At least this one was.



Jack hoped up from where he had been working on something. He was the cabin leader in the Hermes cabin. Had been sense his third year here. "Yo, what's going on?" He asked coming to meet them.

[Fallen]

"Hey Jack. Chiron asked me to bring Alyssa here till she's claimed." He explained, nodding to Alyssa before looking at Jack again. He ran a hand through his hair, glancing around the cabin.

"Oh cool, we'll set up a place for her. She just get here or somethin'? Haven't heard anything about a newbie yet and I just got back from training a little while ago." He told Eli, glancing over at her.

[Fallen]

"Yeah." Eli nodded. "She got here, like not even an hour ago." He answered with a shrug, watching Jack. He bit his lip and messed with his beaded necklace, a habit of his.

"Ah, yeah that explains why no one's heard about her." he commented then turned to her. "So, your going to be staying with us for a while I take it?" He asked even though he knew she would be sense no one had claimed her yet. And no one knew how long that would take or how fast it would be. Seeing as it varied with everyone on when they got claimed.


"Yeah, I guess so. I'm Alyssa by the way." She told him, as she reached out her hand for him to shake. It was something her dad had taught her to do when meeting new people for the first time. She would of done the same with Eli when they'd meet but--- they'd been fighting for their lives. Not really the best time to stop and shake someone's hand. Seeing Eli starting to mess with his necklace again. It must of been a habit of his.


"Well nice to meet you, Alyssa. And welcome to The Cabin of Hermes. So, I'm guessing Eli is showing you around, the camp so you know where everything is at." He asked, he thought she was a little cute but didn't want to start anything right away. Seeing as she just got here and all.

[Fallen]

Eli stayed there for a few as they talked. "You gonna be good here with him Alyssa?" He asked after a minute, figuring he'd leave if she was gonna be fine. There wasn't much point in him staying.

Alyssa had answered that he was. But that they had decided to stop here first so that she'd be able to meet him and know where to go. But turned back when he asked if she'd be okay here with Jack. "I- uh yeah.. if you want though I can just leave my stuff here so that we can finish the tour."

[Fallen]

"Up to you. Jack is better at showing people around but if you want me to, Okay. Just say so." Eli told her, waiting patiently for her to decide. He glanced at Jack and then her.

Alyssa looked between the two of them, yeah Jack might be better at it. But she'd see him at dinner and then tonight sense she'd be living in here with him and the rest of the Hermes group. Where as she didn't know when she'd see Eli again,. "You can, if you don't have something to do." She said not wanting to take him away if he had something he had to do.


Jack leaned against one of the bedposts as they talked out who was going to finish showing her around.

[Fallen]

"I have absolutely nothing to do so..." Eli trailed off. He shrugged, putting his hands in his hoodie pocket as he waited. He glanced toward Jack.

[Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood]

"You can go ahead and do it, man. I gotta go talk to Chiron about something anyways." Jack told Eli, going back to his little side of the room and snatching up a hoodie and slipping it on. "Oh, before I forget Alyssa. If you don't get back in time for me to introduce you to the rest of the house we'll just do it at dinner." he said starting to head for the door.


Alyssa had gone to say that she was fine with Eli finishing showing her around. When Jack had said that he had to go talk to Chiron about something and then headed for the door. Briefly saying an 'okay' when he said it was okay if she wasn't back before dinner and that he could just introduce her to everyone at dinner if she wasn't back before. Then heading out the door. Turning to Eli when it closed behind him. "Is he always like that?"

[Fallen]

"Uhh. Not normally. I don't think." Eli shrugged. "I dunno. I honestly don't know anyone here that well." He admitted honestly. He looked over at her. "Well, shall we go?" He asked.

"Yeah, " She said sitting down her bag in an empty chair then heading for the door. "Why's that?" She asked wanting to know why he didn't know much of anyone seeing as he'd been here for 11 years she remembered him telling her. "Not a big people person?"

[Fallen]

"Well, do you know what Thanatos is the God of?" Eli asked as he walked outside of the cabin with her, looking around. He wasn't a big people person and being the son of death didn't really help him much.

Alyssa rattled her brain for the right one. Then shaking it when she couldn't come up with it. "Afraid not... " She finally said, thinking she'd be spending a lot of time catching up. "Mythology wasn't really my thing, all that much. Even though I enjoyed the class I was in."

[Fallen]

Eli sighed. "Mortals." He muttered under his breath softly. "Thanatos. God of Death..." He told her quietly, biting his lip. Watching her to see her reaction. Most people got scared or freaked out by the fact that Death had a son and that was Eli.

Alyssa took a moment to process that. God of Death. She remembered faintly covering that. But not much on The God of Death. It had been about The Big Three mostly and some minor gods as well. "That's um--- something." She said not quit sure how else to respond to the news.

[Fallen]

"Yeah. Son of death, sorry if that freaks you out." Eli mumbled, taking a step back so there was a few feet between them. Unsure if she'd say anything else about it or not. Eli looked down, biting down on his bottom lip as he walked.

Alyssa shrugged. "I'm okay with it... I mean not really what I was expecting. But it doesn't really freak me out or anything." She told him as she saw him take a couple steeps back as they walked.

[Fallen]

"If you knew more it probably would freak you out. It freaks pretty much everyone except the Hades kids out." Eli told her softly, not looking up for a moment. He glanced over at her, still biting his bottom lip.

"Oh yeah? Try me." She said thinking nothing could really freak her out as much as they day she had accednetly healed someone. It had been someone that had been in a car crash. She had been in front of them on the road and had hoped out of the car to go check on them. When she had started to shake them to get them to wake up her hands had started to glow. Then after a few more minutes the person had woken with no memory of what had happened. She still remembered staring at them in almost a horror way. As if it had been them with the glowing warm hands and not her. She had then quickly made sure that they felt fine and that the other person was okay but calling someone.. before taking off in her own car wanting to get away.

[Fallen]

"You don't want to know. There is nothing good that comes from being me." Eli said softly. He hated every single ability he had. Well, maybe not every ability considering shadow travel was pretty nice, but most. He looked around, biting his lip.

Alyssa stuck her tongue out to wet her lips. Stopping as they walked and turned to him. "Let me show you something..." Maybe she needed to be the one to open up first. Some people were just like that. Then maybe he'd be more open with her.

[Fallen]

Eli stopped, biting his lip. "Alright. Go ahead." He said with a shrug, guessing whatever she had to show him would probably help him figure out what cabin she belonged in. Her opening up to him wouldn't make him open up easier though, nothing did except for time and even then most things he kept to himself.

"You'll have to take off your shirt and remove the bandage from where you got cut..." She'd never did it without touching the person skin to skin. So she didn't know if she able to or not.

[Fallen]

"How about you just tell me what you can do rather than try and show me?" Eli asked, unwilling to take off his hoodie and shirt. He had too many scars which would probably lead to questions from her that he didn't want to answer. Then again, she hadn't really seemed to notice the scar on his jaw and cheek.

"It would be easier if I showed you... trust me." She said. She'd seen enough scars in her life that they didn't really bother her anymore. And she had learned not to ask about them either. Although it was getting chilly out here so she could understand why he didn't want to take his hoodie off. Closing her eyes and placing a hand on where the wound was. Feeling the stiff banging under his shirt. Focusing really hard, seeing it in her mind. Making herself remember how it had looked, what it would possibly feel like then and now. Then felt her hand start to warm. Slowly. But it was still warming.

[Fallen]

As Eli felt her hand warm up against him, he stepped back. "Don't heal me or whatever. It doesn't work." He replied, shaking his head. He studied her carefully.

Alyssa felt her hand fall when he steeped back, emieally feeling it cool and go back to it's normal tempter. Looking at him confused. What did he mean it wouldn't work? It always worked. No matter the person. Did he think-- or know it wouldn't work because he was the son of the god of death? And that's why it wouldn't work on him? "I--just--- okay."
