Finished! It was cute, I like how it played out and I liked the ending. Nothing super spectacular or impressive.

That's one thing about this book that bothered me: (view spoiler)[You never really find out, I mean, they tell you its for getting into the college program... but, her intensity with the whole friendship was just a little hard for me to believe. I'd like to think that people wouldn't shove their way into someone else's life like that... then again, it ended up being good for him... but, I just keep thinking that he's lucky she's not a total weirdo, or more selfish regarding his situation, or a thief, etc... am I being totally pessimistic?? I just finished and , while I think we needed a bit more resolution with Lisa, I really liked the book. And the ending as well.

Ch1-3. Solomon's behaviour, while hard to deal with, is very logical. I do wonder how we'll get a whole book out of Lisa's attempt to 'fix' him.

Ch4-8. Lady Macbeth without the murder-wonderful line! Lisa is a scary character, but the way his family accept Solomon is interesting.
