(view spoiler)[So the romance triangles are a bit much. There's the obvious one, then there's Miranda's love issues. Then there's Holiday, and okay, not a triangle, but still. It's been crazy. I still don't think I really like Derek and where the heck is Lucas? And what about the letter? I want to know!!!

The ghost stuff I think is still the best part. It adds some mystery and creepiness to an otherwise basic romance. (hide spoiler)]

I kind of like Perry. He's obnoxious, but kind of adorable. And I want her to get to the Falls already! I think she's part Death Angel or something, though I'm kind of confused about exactly what they are, so I'd also just like more info on them. The story's pretty good, though I still maintain that the most interesting part is the ghosts visiting her and everything. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I'm *hoping* that this drama with Holiday and Burnett works itself out already, because it's causing rippling problems out to everyone, you know? And I'm sort of disappointed with her trip to the Falls, or the aftermath anyway. Holiday makes it seem so... unimportant. Like, "Oh, yeah, everyone has that feeling with the Falls." I was so hoping it was more personal for Kylie.

Also, bigger boobs, lol. That's sort of funny, but all I can picture is how much her shoes hurt right now...

I'm, I guess, glad that Derek and Kylie made up. I don't want them together, but I don't necessarily want them angry or fighting with each other. And Trey's such a jerk that I'd rather he never reappear at all, even if only in passing thought or connection like that. He really was such an awful character!

I really want to know what Kylie is, I want to know what's going on with the ghost, and I want Lucas to come back already! I think this is where things are starting to drag because even though things have happened we still feel like we're in the same spot. (hide spoiler)]

I'll try to do more reading tonight, but I think right now 50 pages at a time is about what I'm managing, give or take.

I'm not going to spoil too much for you but I will tell you that your questions will be answered. However, not in this book though. You won't find out what she is until thd end of book 4. It was frustrating for me the first time through too.

(view spoiler)[I feel sort of bad for Derek... I don't particularly like him or want Kylie to end up with him, but I don't necessarily think he's a *bad* guy or anything... Actually, I haven't decided if he's actually manipulating her emotions or what yet and the whole fairy tale moments are really weird, so IDK about that, but regardless. He's been nice to her and I feel like now that she's going to choose Lucas - who is still my pick - but she shouldn't be toying with Derek. Which, okay, she's not doing *deliberately* but she's still doing it! She can't commit to him so she just drags him along trying to use him to ignore her feelings for Lucas.

I think she just needs to learn how to deal with normal people lovey dovey feelings and stop running away from everything. But maybe that's just me. Also, I'm hoping that Perry pulls his head out of his butt and makes up with Miranda. They're kinda cute together. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ well I have to say her whole turn around over Derek is nice, weird but nice and it doesn't feel real, I don't think she should lead him on but I guess Lucas left so she doesn't really have a choice but to believe she wasn't good enough to stay.

That "wolf" hmm is it a real wolf or well is it Lucas checking or something else entirely.

The dynamics of Miranda, Della and Kylie's friendship is hard to follow sometimes but entertaining all the same.

Poor Miranda and Perry but wow how brave was Kylie, she seems a little more courageous in this book than the last which is nice bar her whining a fair bit.

On the other hand... I think it's clear that Derek mwans safety to her and Lucas means passion. Still, I don't know that it was fair to break it off with her like that. The stuff with her mom... blah. Whatever. I don't really like her mom. But I have my theories that Kylie is supposed to save Sara! Maybe from a butchered surgery? It seems like she's really sick...
