Amber | 347 comments Arizona smirked. "Next time don't pick such a cold hearted girl. That's my advice to you," she replied. She drank the rest of her whiskey and set the empty glass down on the metal bar counter top. "Here I'll do me. I don't cook because my apartment's kitchen is useless so I came here to grab some food after work before heading home. Really I know it's the most interesting thing you've heard all day," she replied.

message 52: by [deleted user] (new)

"Well maybe its better for me to pick the cold hearted ones. The ones that doesn't care about anyone but themselves." He said as he grabbed one more drink while smiling.
"In all honesty, what you said....only the second most interesting thing i heard today." Dal said as he smiled.
"First one was of a guy who came into my shop to fix his car saying that saw a criminal called crimson run off into the distance as he was driving last night.

message 53: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona raised a brow. "Yeah? The villain couldn't think of a better name?" she questioned. "That'd be interesting, running into a villain. I'm sure I'd get myself in trouble though. I have a tendency to not watch what I'm saying and all of a sudden pissing people off," she added afterwards. "That's a warning by the way," she commented again.

message 54: by [deleted user] (new)

"Stop trying to scare me off." He said as he smirked a little bit.
"So what do you say. Mind if i grab your number?" He asked as he looked at her for a second. That must be the girl who he fought last night. A girl called crimson. He wondered who she was but she was quiet making a name for herself.
Afterall, she was the one who gave him a majour kicking and beat the day light out of him.

message 55: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments "You mean it's not working? Damn," Arizona shook her head. She looked over Dallas for a moment before deciding that if he'd lasted this long he could have her number. "Alright but this is a sacred thing. I never give anyone my number," she commented. She leaned over the bar and grabbed a pen then grabbed his arm and wrote her number on his hand. "There," she smiled and put the pen back. Since she'd already paid for her food she stood from her spot at the counter. "Now I'm going to mysteriously not so mysteriously disappear. I have to keep you guessing, right?" she questioned with a smirk before walking out and throwing her purse over her shoulder.

message 56: by [deleted user] (new)

Dallas smiled as he smiled while seeing her leave. He knew using his powers for his needs weren't perfect but whoever said he was perfect. He smiled while going to his truck as he placed his night vision googles as he climbed up top to the roof in silence as he was arizona walk through the streets by herself as he followed her from far away distance but still keeping ay eye on her.

message 57: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona walked quietly. She felt like she could feel eyes on her but when she looked around saw nothing. Finally she reached the rundown building she lived in and scaled up the side to her window like she always did. She hated walking through the building because of all the people she had to encounter to get there. Normally when she left in the morning no one was awake so she didn't have to worry about it then. Once in her apartment she tossed her purse in the corner and sat on her bed to take her shoes off.

message 58: by [deleted user] (new)

Dal watched arizona walk off into a abandon building as he turned around. It was creepy that he somewhat followed her but at the same time she was living in a place like that. He started to turn back when he heard a scream of a woman as he put on his metal mask from his back pack and followed where that voice was cumming from. He ran closer and closer as a woman was in a alley by herself as she was cornered by a man as the man was trying to rape her.

message 59: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona hadn't expected to go out after she went in but she heard the screaming too. While she was considered a 'villain' all she wanted to do was burn the people that hurt her, she didn't want innocent people getting hurt. So she came back out dressed and jumped over buildings to the screaming. She hopped off the roof and landed behind the guy. "Hey!" she snapped. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" she questioned as she ripped the guy away from the girl which seemed to anger him and made him go after her. Which was what she wanted since she could handle herself.

message 60: by [deleted user] (new)

As from the distance more goons seemed to come from the alley as dalllas saw another woman coming to help as he ran towards the same direction. After a little bit of running the few man stopped towards arizona as they laughed.
"What are you gonna do. There are 4 of us here and just one of you." He said as dal came from behind while looking at them.
"Make that 2 agaisnt 4." He said as he looked at the girl as it was the same girl from last night.
"You...."

message 61: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona was just about to reply that they were in fact the ones in trouble until another voice spoke. "Yeah. Me," she stated simply but rolled her eyes. She kicked the guy that had originally been trying to rape the other woman in the chest and watched him stumble back then turned to the others with a come and get me face. Then she went into combat, kicking and punching. She preferred not to use her powers when she looked like a civilian in case anyone recognized her ever. She wasn't interested in having the scientists find her again.

message 62: by [deleted user] (new)

Dal helped her as he kicked some of the guys as he kneed them right in their guts as these guys were nobody. It didn't take long before dal and this girl took them out easliy.
He than walked towards her as he stared for a bit.
"You left a pretty darn good scar arpund my face. What were you doing in that chemical area burning all that down?" He asked as he looked at her

message 63: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona's eyes narrowed. "None of your business," she muttered. She didn't like to talk about her past and that's all that question was to her. "Sorry about your face," she mumbled, "I'm a villain thought apparently you should have expected it." She really didn't feel bad about almost hurting him but when she had her costume on she was focused on destroying the labs and no one could get in her way.

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah and im no hero. But shit happens when you burn shit down. Although you really aren't horrible. You did help that woman out. Unless you had your own agenda with you?" He asked as he looked at the guys while kicking in the face to give them a cold knock out.
"I say look away if i was you." He said as he pulled out his pistol with the silencer as he shot the 4 men in the skull as he left them for dead.
"What? You taught i was knight in shinning armour?"

message 65: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments "No. I didn't have my own agenda," Arizona replied. She didn't look away it didn't bother her. "I thought no such thing," she commented. She bit her lip and sighed. "Come on I'll tell you why I was burning labs down," she motioned for him to follow her and climbed up the fire escaped back up to the roof tops so she could go back to her apartment building. Once their she climbed down the side of the building and entered her apartment from the window again. She turned on the lights so he could see the map and all of her files.

message 66: by [deleted user] (new)

Dal followed her as they ended up in the apartment where she was.
"Wow what a shit hole." He said as he turn to look at arizona one more time.
"But i'm sure your not here to show off your apartment. Show me what you came here to show me." He said as he himself was curious about why she was doing all this. Why she was going through all the troubles.

message 67: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments "I don't make a lot of money Dal," Arizona rolled her eyes. "This is a map that has all of the places this company has labs set up. They are scientists but they experiment on children. My parents had me so they could have a test subject all to themselves. Until I was 15 I was shot up with all kinds of drugs to see the effects they'd have on me. I lived in a cage and was abused. When I escaped I didn't make it far before I collapsed and luckily a police officer found me, though I was almost dead and severely malnourished. Anyway that's not the point. My abilities came from all of the things they put in me. And I'm their only success case. Until they have more they are going to keep experimenting and I want to stop that," she explained.

message 68: by [deleted user] (new)

Dallas wasn't sure if he could trust her or not. But what choice did he have? He moved his hand to look at the number she gave him as he texted her back as her phone buzzed up.
"There now you have my number." He said as he looked at her seriously while thinking through all this.
"I see what your going through and all. But the people.....are they still looking for you?"

message 69: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona looked to her phone then back to Dallas when he asked if they were still looking for her. She swallowed hard and was quiet before nodding. "Yeah they are still looking for me," she replied finally. What she was doing actually really scared her because if they got her that would mean living life in a cage again and getting injected with who knows what. After replying she grabbed her phone and quickly added his contact before tossing it back on the table.

message 70: by [deleted user] (new)

"You know what that means right arizona? Or should i say crimson." He said as he pulled off his mask now as they knew who each other were.
"I say your in a bit of a tight spot. If you made a muntant like you, just how many more is the question." He said as he leaned over the table to stare at her.
"Pack your shit right now. You gonna crash in my place. Its a lot hetter than this dump and a lot safer too." He said as he wasn't sure if she was gonna agree to that.

message 71: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona raised a brow. "And who are you to order me around in such a way?" she questioned. Any place was probably safer than this place but that wasn't what worried her. She could hold her own if someone tried to break in she had powers it was all fine and dandy. But she sure would love to be able to sleep in past 4 in the morning and not feel like an ice cube in winter since there was no heat but cold air blew through the vents.

message 72: by [deleted user] (new)

"Would you stop acting like a criminal and just come with me. You know that those people are looking for you. And from the looks of it, thw building seems like its gonna give out too." He said as he told her as he took a breather.
"I got a guest room in my condo, you should be good as long you don't kill anyone." He said while looking around the neighboorhood
"You said you want to stop these people. How can you stop them if they catch you?" He asked her while trying to give some reasonable points.

message 73: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments "You said it yourself I'm a mutant. I have powers that they probably don't know how to contain," Arizona commented. But she was already moving around the room throwing her shit in bags. There wasn't a lot of it just a few personal belongings and the majority was clothes. She muttered a string of curse words as she packed then slung her bags over her shoulders. "Uh I don't like to go through the building because I don't like the way the string of creepy old dudes that stand outside stare at me as I pass by and there's this other guy that threatens to steal me every time I pass by. And while that's laughable because, let's be honest he can't fight me. It's just annoying," she spoke and motioned towards the window.

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

Dallas didn't argue with her. He knew he left his truck back at the bar but he was still a little buzzed to drive home. He got out with her as he called the cab to get them as he took all his weapons and put it in a garbage bag as he waited for the cab.
"My place is a little far for driving." He said as he stared into her eyes for a second as he breaked contact so it didn't make thing akward.
"So....what do i call you?"

message 75: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments "Well you know my name. Why don't you try that on for size?" Arizona questioned. After a second she sighed. "Sorry I'm being so bitter right now," she muttered and ran a hand through her blonde hair. "Call me Arizona or a variation of that. Just don't call me Crimson in public when I'm not in my costume and don't call me Arizona when I am in costume," she instructed. She'd probably loose her job if they found out she was actually a villain. She'd like to avoid that and everyone hating her.

message 76: by [deleted user] (new)

The cab pulled up as they put their stuff in the trunk while they both got into the back seat as they sat in silence the whole way both niether of them really said anything. It was late and he knew she must have been tired too. They finally got to his condo as he paid the driver while getting their stuff as they took their stuff.
"Oh and just a little warning....there is gonna be a dog who looks like a pig....so yeah." He said as the got to his floor as he opened the doors.
"Help yourself to whatever you want."

message 77: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona nodded and said a quiet 'thank you'. She looked around and wasn't too mad about leaving her apartment behind this place was a hell of a lot nicer than her shit hole. "I'd love to help myself to the guest bedroom. Where is that exactly?" she questioned. She didn't want to just wander his home.

message 78: by [deleted user] (new)

Dallas smiled as he looked over as piglet ran to his new guest as he looked at arizona for a second.
"Thats piglet." He said as he smiled softly as he went to get a cup of water for himself.
"Here...let me show you your room." He said as he showed her to her room as he po8nted to the shower.
"Shower and washroom in the same room. And we'll talk about our plans first thing in the morning."

message 79: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona had looked to where his finger pointed and nodded. She dropped down to her knees and was petting piglet. She had a smile on her face as she did so having. Always loved dogs no matter what they look like.
"Right. Thanks," she said then found her way to her feet. She took her stuff into the room and took a shower before putting pajamas on and crawling into bed. She slept uneasily since she was in a new place and woke at the typical 4:30 in the morning. "Even when I get away I wake up at this time," she groaned. After rolling out of bed she found her way to the kitchen, adjusting her shorts and tank top since they had gotten disheveled in her sleep, and figured out how to make coffee.

message 80: by [deleted user] (new)

Dallas woke up too as he looked around and smelling something. He got out to see the kitchen while looking at arizona.
"Is that coffee that i smelll?" He asked as he went over and got a cup himself. He looked at her while pulling out one of the sample that they used on her as it managed to save one from the fire.
"So this is what changed?" He asked as he looked at the liquid.
"Doesn't look much. So what powers do you have?"

message 81: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona sighed softly. "That's just the latest version of it. I've got a lot more of that coursing through my veins," she muttered. After taking a sip of her coffee she leaned against the counter. "I heal faster than normal humans plus I'm stronger and faster than them. My powers are telekinesis and this fancy thing I can do to people's blood that hurts a lot," she replied. "I keep getting new abilities. I don't know if that's the full extent yet," she added.

message 82: by [deleted user] (new)

He looked at her funny while putting the liquid down.
"Your gonna be safe here." He comforted her while looking at her for a bit.
"So what are your plans. Find and attack the base. You know if they created you, they are gonna try to create more. Maybe even stronger and ones that might obey." He warned her for a second as he sat on the chair.

message 83: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments "I've been attacking the smaller labs that they have so I can work my way up to the bigger ones. And yes I'm aware I've been cautious. I had a friend who was the kid of a different scientist when I was in there. I think hey might have been successful with him too because we were getting the same treatments," Arizona replied. She wasn't worried about her safety in all of this. Just the safety of others.

message 84: by [deleted user] (new)

He looked at her as he nodded while sipping on his coffee one last time.
"Well i don't think keeping our identity is so much of a problem." He said as he taught over it.
"Okay well I will help you get rid of this bullshit." He said as he stood up.
"So....do you work or anything....dunno like a part time job?" Dallas asked as he went over to the fridge to get himself a cup of milk.

message 85: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments She raised a row and nodded. "Yeah I work. And full time job," she responded. After a moment of silence she looked at him, "you know you don't have to help me. I'm not asking for help or looking for pity. I planned on doing it myself and the only reason you know about it is because we kicked ass together." She didn't want him thinking he had to help her because that definitely wasn't the case.

message 86: by [deleted user] (new)

Dallas turned away from arizona as he smiled but still talked.
"Who ever said i was helping you. Were just gonna be on common grounds. I help you and you get those children out of there....and i will get what i need." He said as he moved to her.
"$500. Thats your half of the bill if you want to stay here. I know you don't have much but if you got a full time job im sure you can pass that." He said as he moved back towards the room as piglet followed.
"I'm going out tonight...i got a few things to take care of. Want to join me?"

message 87: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona blinked. "You. You literally just said 'I'll help you get rid of this bullshit'" she replied. "And I didn't plan on staying here. I didn't even plan on coming here last night. I'll just go back to my shit hole," she shook her head. For some reason she just really wanted to be defiant and not get any help whatsoever from this guy. "Sure," she muttered and stepped away with her mug in hand, heading back to her room.
Once inside she got dressed for the day and since she didn't have a car she had to call a cab company to pick her up and take her to work. She stood outside, waiting and pacing. What the hell was she doing with recruiting this guy? No. She hadn't recruited Dallas he recruited himself. She'd only half heartedly flirted with Dallas.

message 88: by [deleted user] (new)

Dallas didn't have the work today as he watched Arizona yap and bitch as he saw her leave while smiling.
"I guess im gonna help her piglet. In a way...." he said as he went to the guest room as he looked around.
"Nothing to crazy....just some make up and her weapons." He said to himself as he knew that he seemed to get on her nerves. He went out in the balacony as he pulled out a smoke while waiting for her to get back.

message 89: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments When Arizona returned she was tired and pissy but that was her usual state of mind. She honestly couldn't think of a time when she wasn't one or the other or both. But tonight her voice was hoarse because she had been teaching a kid how to sing and had to repeatedly sing the same damn high note over and over again. She had been ridiculously uninterested because she had taught the girl before and she never ever listened. She didn't have a key so when she walked up to the door she had to open it with her powers before stepping inside.

message 90: by [deleted user] (new)

He could feel thw energy vibrate in his home as he heard the door open by itself. He heard arizona walk in through the room all upset as she had a bit of a pissy atitude coming in.
"I'm guessing a bad day at work huh? Want a drink?" He asked as he watched her for a bit as he looked outside.
"You said you don't have a car?" He replied while walking towards the cabin as he pulled out a crown royal while pouring her a shot.
"Would you like to have a car?" He asked her as he raised his eyebrow,

message 91: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona ignored him at first, but only to go to her room and throw her purse in the corner and take her leather jacket off. "Drink yes, car no," she responded as she walked back to wear Dallas was. The strain in her voice luckily was less obvious than it felt. "I want a motorcycle," she mumbled and took the shot from the countertop and downed it easily before putting the glass back down. She'd had a boyfriend with a motorcycle once. One taste of driving it and she was hooked.

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

"Well even better." He said as he poured 2 shots this time as she seemed a little eager while smiling
"Easy pirate. One of them is for me." Dallas replied while taking in a shot.
"You know getting a motor bike is gonna be easy.....if you want to do what i do?" He asked for a moment as he could read what peopke were thinking by staring into her eyes.
"I know you don't even like what i have to say but you seem a little curious to let go of the idea."

message 93: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments It didn't take long for Arizona to let the second shot chase the first one. "What do you do?" she questioned. She hoped it wasnt illegal. She didn't do the illegal business unless it was burning down top secret laboratories or killing really bad people. But she wasn't completely closed off to the idea.

message 94: by [deleted user] (new)

"Nothing really. I told you. I'm not a hero." He said as he looked at her.
"You're good. In fact really good." He said the last part with a bit of a smile.
"I like to deal with few underground mob boss. One seems to not get along with another. He offered me 2 grand to take care of the rival boss and his goons tonight. And if we do it, I'll spit the profit with you in half." He said as he proposed this idea to her.
"Whats the matter....don't tell me you never killed people before."

message 95: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona was quiet for a moment. "I killed my parents. I have no problems killing people," she responded. "I'll go. You don't have to share you're money though it's fine," she added afterwards. "When do you want to leave?" she asked afterwards. It wasn't dark yet and she figured he didn't want to do this in daylight. Unless he was crazy, in which case she was perfectly fine with crazy and would go anyway.

message 96: by [deleted user] (new)

He smiled as he nodded.
He went to his room while gettimg dressed back in his bullet proof armour while loading all his weapons for what he needed.
Silencer, night vision goggles, posion darts and a 3ft long blade.
"Were in mask. No one is gonna know." He said as he looked at her as she seemed to be dressed up as well.
"Were gonna go out through the balcony." He replied as it was about a 100 ft drop as they were on the top of the condo.
"Don't worry. Just trust me on this one." He said as he got himself a parachute back pack ready.
" i suggest you hold onto me tight."

message 97: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments When he left she took that as a sign that now was when he wanted to go. She groaned and went over to her room. After pulling her suit on and fixing a mask over her eyes she stepped into her boots then flipped her hood up. She grabbed her swords and crossed them over her back then slipped a gun into the belt on her waist. After adding extra ammo she walked out to see Dallas.
After meeting him pull her to the balcony Arizona raised a brow. "Or I could just jump off," she muttered. She would be fine if she jumped off. She couldn't fly but she was be able to slow herself with her powers before hitting the ground. She didn't hold onto him though, it wasn't all that hard since she was stronger than normal humans.

message 98: by [deleted user] (new)

"You don't even know where this place is. But if you want to follow me than by all means." He said as he ran while jumping from the top of the baloncy while falling straight down as he pulled the parachute while he floated around as he looked behind him as she somehow seemed to actually follow him.
"Not bad crimson." He replied while gently going down to the more adbandon part of the city as it seemed like the ghost town as he gently fell down.
(Think im done for tonight. Have a goodnight)

message 99: by Amber (new)

Amber | 347 comments Arizona followed quietly, keeping her eyes open for anything out of the ordinary. This wasn't her deal so she was letting Dallas lead the way. She appreciated him calling her Crimson when she was in costume. "What am I getting into here? Is there a lot of people? A lot of weapons?" she needed to know so she could figure out how much she was going to need to pay attention.

message 100: by [deleted user] (new)

Dallas shook his head as he laughed.
"Few wanna be thugs. Maybe a gun or two. Possible a lot of drugs." He said as they came to where the location was as he smiled.
"Were here." He said as he turned towards her.
"If you want to turn back this is your last possible chance."
