Librarian Notes

Is there a policy and/or prohibition about editing librarian notes? I see the below note on an author's combine page, which I have italicized to differentiate it from this question.

First of all, abridged editions are supposed to be combined with the main work. Second, adaptations and comics should not appear on the main author combine page because the adapter should be the primary author. I have no problem with the last sentence.


Do NOT combine the full works with adaptations for children, abridged versions and comics

If there's a librarian note attached to a book, DO NOT IGNORE WHAT IT SAYS!

Unless the note was added by a Goodreads staff member, if it is definitely contrary to usual policy, it should be ok to change it. If it is unclear (or from a staff member), an email via the Contact Us link is advised.

Thanks, Rivka. That one is by another librarian. I'll see if I can find a good way to edit it. If it turns out my imagination is lacking, you can look for it. ;-)
