Hm, random question that I'm curious about: would people like the idea of pre-made characters (like how you have to apply to play certain characters on tumblr) or not? Like, no restrictions on collabs or anything, but the general relationships, name and possibly personality and face claim would be already there for you, you just have to apply for the role...? Like I'm just curious seeing it's a little different on Tumblr.

There are roleplay stories on tumblr, I had no idea...That is a whole world on tumblr that I never knew of. o.o

I know, sometimes groups on here get really big and it holds me back from joining because I feel like I'm jumping right in the middle of the story. But really, it is just filled with people who started to roleplay and then stopped because they don't do anything with their characters :/

Haha yeah exactly...I'm totally guilty of that too but :P

With premade characters, hopefully there's less time spent thinking them up since they should be mostly done, and more time actually RPing.

Before I was on here I was on Tumblr and really the reason I left was because Tumblr kept making updates that made formatting so damn hard and formatting stresses me out also really long replies stress me out. So I just procrastinated to the moon and back but I would love to pick up some of my old muses. (Actually one of the old ones I'm talking about is from Now You See Me... I'd like to revive her if possible... and another is a Tilda from The Hobbit.)

I have been meaning to make some characters that I have in mind, but I can't find the right groups for them >.> I was also thinking of creating a group that had pre-made characters as well. Possibly in the regency era, and then another one involving spys and then there was another one I thought of last night that dealt with a fantasy world similar to a mixture of Brothers Grimm tales.

I was thinking about it and the formatting on Tumblr is difficult at times, I just leave it to pictures and my writing journal.

I'm the weirdo who likes to read everything first, and understand everyone's characters and their stories before I start a roleplay. I just want to make sure I'm not jumping into something acting totally calm about the situation when actually there is a war going on in the roleplay. Plus, I like reading the stories that other people are writing with their characters.

ooooh, me too me too !!! like obviously I know groups with people I know well are going to be to a certain standard but when groups aren't I always check the fc threads and maybe skim the characters because you can very approximately gauge with fcs already.

I also check how the people write in groups because I don't want to get stuck with a group that isn't advanced and only writes their dialogue. I almost did that once because the theme of the plot and the people's characters looked great but as soon as I started looking at the writing I had to back away. I just can't write with people who only reply with one or two sentences, it will drive me mad >.<
