Aldric | 3 comments back in the 90's i found a old paperback series where there was a space pilot who had been boosted with animal dna (some sort of cat i think ) so that when he fought his senses got better and big claws would grow from his finger tips, while on a strange planet he found a special ring that other people were interested in and who started to hunt him for it.
Ive tried looking for this book many times over the years but had no luck, hopefully someone here will be able to help me

Aldric | 3 comments they are the books, i was sad to find that they were supposed to be a trilogy but the author stopped writing after the second book... very frustrating that

I agree Aldric. There have been times when that's happened to me too. When you are left wondering why they never wrote anything more, and trying to figure out what would have happened in that last book in the series.

This is a series that I managed to miss out on (no idea HOW I missed it, but hey, I was still working then and didn't have quite as much time to read as I'd have liked to have.

Congrats on finding it again. (Oh, and if you still want copies there are some available on both Amazon and on Barnes and Noble. I just checked both sites out for the books.)
